As you know almost a decade ago by now my old man and I read and discussed some of the very fine literature you had suggested but in my case I became aware of the origins of most of the old philosophical texts very close similarities of subject and decided to stick with scientific origins and descriptions rather than the contemporary practices. A real trip into the spirit world is not hard to come by and the fastest way to get there is literally to do nothing. Of course the results will be poor mainly because you have shirked your creator assigned duty in this realm thinking you can escape the pain of existance, only work can set the soul free. A dream about which one member (whom I know like I know myself) told some of you here many years ago:
A ship on sea in a windy day, and the sea brought forward so many pearls, my friend started to collect a large number of pearls, the biggest then the biggest and the less big, to put all that in a box which he carried like a basket. Then he went to a lower room where the crew and other men where, and he cried to them: "The sea has brought many pearls! The sea has brought many pearls" .. none responded .. only one man turned .. only turned towards him, not more .. none came out of his sitting place.
Then he went on picking the pearls to fill the box or basket, and again he went to the ladder leading to the lower room and cried out to the men there: "The sea has brought many pearls! The sea has brought many pearls!"

The dream has been fulfilled and none of you (and others) responded .. only a man merely turned towards him, while he kept sitting in his place.

And the man who picked the pearls kept on picking the pearls, not paying attention to others.

Abu Abd-Allah interpreted the dream: the sea is the Quran: the word of God, and the pearls are its ayat, different in sizes, which is far better than all the treasures of the World which you will leave behind and go naked to the Next Life .
