It amuses me to no end how may men on this forum have become hysterical in Kavanaugh's defense...while the female likes of Mowich remain calm, sober and reasoned.

Maybe not so sober, Fords' testimony that I caught on cnn she claimed unwelcome forceful sexual contact(s) and said she even feared for her life, obviously mowichs' defintion of rape differs from mine.
Apparently the law's definition differs from yours, too. The law requires penetration of the vagina by the penis for rape (in those jurisdictions, including Maryland, that still use the term).
Ford said she was NOT raped...that her tight swimwear underneath her clothes prevented Kavanaugh from getting to third base.

Dr Ford wasn't raped.

I wonder if there was even a ripple of discomfort among them(the Supremes) when that news hit the air waves. If nothing else it should sow caution in the minds of those calling for his immediate appointment to the bench after which, should he prove to be unworthy, he can be removed. Thomas put the lie to that claim.
The only people who will ever know all the facts are those who were actually there at the time and have total recall of all said events. So far the 'total recall' part is sketchy at best and I doubt further investigation of a 3 decades old incident is going to further clarify anything.
What do you base this 'fact' on??..her word?? Cancel the fbi probe her word is gospel. Failing to press sexual assault charges liberating a sexual preditor[her impliction] to stalk innocents just to save face makes her capable of with holding almost anything including vaginal distress.

Well that's just it, he probably didn't deserve the job right from the get go, but now that he's been put through all this sh*t, they probably owe him a lot so I'm guessing they might just end up giving him the job out of sympathy. Probably no one else will want it anyway!

This is the crux of the matter, she concealed her alleged sexual encounter for how long thus concealing anything else is no stretch at all.
Enduring sexual contact(s) fearing for your life as she claims spells more than a casual encounter. I think a legal eagle worth his salt could make a case for rape if indeed her account is factual, at worst life threatened sexual assault. If she had come forward years ago he and she would not be in this he said she said news maker.

What's interesting is all the ALT-left Canadians being so goddam sure Kavanaugh is guilty based purely on unfounded allegations and yet think Trudeau, the admitted sexual assaulter, still has the moral mandate to be PM. So, unfounded allegations means a judge can't sit on the SC and rule on cases and interpret the law, but a known and admitted sexual assaulter in a position to MAKE laws is fine, as long as it's Trudeau.
