"The Liberal government in Ottawa is halfway through a whopping 10-year, $78.5-billion anti-homelessness strategy, and it has little to no idea whether it’s working, because it has failed to collect and analyze the data necessary to determine that."

Our frikkin gov't in a nutshell. You can bet they're not collecting the data because too many of their friends are cashing in on that 78 billion and they don't want it known that there's not enough left over to get anything meaningful done.

There is a good living to be made pimping poverty .
People don't realize how true this is. I often say that there's good money in poor people and people think i'm joking, but it's a multi billion dollar industry that has made many people rich.

CUPE, Unifor and Provincial Unions think so too
Enough money is spent on the downtown east side to house all the homeless in Point Grey and provide them with free smack and rum . For all that money we have deteriorating conditions and an ever expanding homeless population .

Feral people wont live in housing.

There is housing popping up galore. The cities province and feds are bankrolling developments that are 20% housing rentals and the rest condos. 1700 units in just Vancouver this year not including the rest of Metro.

Profitable as fuck for developers.
