Robots malfunction sometimes.

Now you are just reaching...........

And none of it works without humans keeping them in working order.

Of which there is a huge pool of unemployed Americans ready and able to do so. Again, you don't have to have a Harvard degree. My girlfriend works or worked that is, in the Oil Patch - she knew that huge machine of hers inside and out. She never got past Grade 10 in high school..........put her around machines and she's one smart cookie.

Another conundrum for the Dumpster. How do does he give his supporters the cheap electronic goods they crave while at the same time stop the Chinese from providing so many of them? And that means more than just phones - think all appliances, computer hardware, and a multitude of inexpensive plastic products. I don't expect the Dumpster thought it through when he promised to slow down the flow of goods from China into the US.

You don't remember BC -before china?
There was a time before various crooked globalist governments offshored all those types of jobs.

Forget the Iphones. Don't worry about all that junk you get in the dollar store. America will stop exporting corn and soy and China will be starving to death in a few months. The food is where the power lies, you cannot replace it.

The US is not the only food-producing country. If China gradually shifts its food imports away from the USA, US farmers won't be too happy.

But then Canada could import US food cheaply in the winter.

Last year when all the rage was Apple using Ireland and other places to hide money and avoid taxes and called Un American, it was revealed that they had a profit of some $450.00 per phone and that if they moved the production to the USA and paid the taxes the profit would drop by $65.00 per phone.

Of course I remember a world where nothing came from Communist China and they considered them as vile as the USSR, Cuba and Iran and to suggest dealing with them brought back cries of resurrecting the Salem witch hunts.......

Trading with China and so promoting more interdependence between us is the most effective way to promote change in China. Its growing middle class will become more vocal and demand more freedom.

Dr. Martin Weiss: Shocking Forecast of U.S. Bond Market Collapse
OCTOBER 20, 2013...
...Dr. Weiss says we are about to experience a collapse that could be worse than what happened in October 1979 when bond prices dropped uncontrollably, 2.5% in a single day, followed by even bigger drops over the following months. Bond prices dropped 5% in a single day in February 1980. Bond prices move inversely to interest rates so when prices dropped, interest rates skyrocketed to nearly 17% for U.S. Treasury bills. The market collapse caused the value of the U.S. dollar to plummet and nearly shut down the U.S. government...

...But as I explained two weeks ago, the bond investor rebellion we’re forecasting is not unprecedented. It has happened before — in 1980, under the Carter administration… My forecast was — and is — that this will happen again. When it does, you’d better be ready. It won’t be pretty.

note the date dumbass
and note the HISTORICAL fact - bond collapses are caused by democrats

That didn't take long. An overnight panic in global markets evaporated as Wall Street gave an emphatic welcome to President-elect Donald Trump.
The Dow soared 257 points and brushed up against lifetime highs on Wednesday, in defiance of those who predicted Trump's election would bring about a plunge in the stock market. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose 1.1% apiece.

Large markets seek each other out.

Should China stop providing phones, other markets will take up the slack. The short answer is because there is a pile of money to be made. Malaysia, Korea, S. America, heck even the US or Canada might dive into that market.

Let the games begin!

Sure, keep buying up the cheap stuff. You don't think there is a catch?

Huawei has been accused of stealing private information via some of their apparatus. Phones and hot spots primarily.
