Back in the day they immigrants were allowed to utilize their skills and educations without restriction and earn a decent living wherever the railway went so did young men and women fleeing war.

Labour was cheap and mobile and building materials local or delivered with ease.

People put in sweat equity to build their homes, businesses and farms.

We need labour that has skill and motivation.

What was the growth rate 15 years ago? Was it higher or less than now?

Gen X just cracked 60. Boomers are starting to drop like flies along with their Greatest Gen parents.

That is a good thing. Saves on medical and pensions. The medical system needs that saved money to change little kids gender.

We certainly don’t get that from home grown youth. Labours should be on a shovel, not cel phones.
