uttering a threat to "damage real or personal property":
"...or i will break your camera" is a chargeable offence
simple as that

Every one commits an offence who, in any manner, knowingly utters, conveys or causes any person to receive a threat
(a) to cause death or bodily harm to any person;
(b) to burn, destroy or damage real or personal property;

Always sad to see an angry, unhinged dipsh#t. Too bad anybody took his side, shows some people are confused with life.

I actually felt for the protestor in the white hat. She was clearly shaken from what she witnessed.

Yes she was quite upset by what happened, Eagle. And where you find one, surely there are others who have good hearts in spite of possessing suspect ideologies.

I have to give the women who participated in these marches credit. Somehow, though massed in the millions, they actually managed to pull off rallies that for the most part were very peaceful - and these days that takes some doing.

I guess I just got punched in the face so many times (and punched back) during my hockey playing days, that I find this minor altercation to be just a little...er...overbaked and theatrical?

You're right... when they weren't punching (although that was a man) or setting a woman on fire I'd say it was very peaceful.

They sure left a mess behind though...

My comments included marches around the world, Eagle.......sorry for not being more specific.

Re your remarks about the mess, I was reading comments from a snowflake about the placards, banners, signs etc left littering the streets. She hoped that some might one day hang in museums and suggested people should take them home and hang them on their walls - a sentiment I completely agreed with but from the looks of things wasn't about to happen. In the meantime, she figured city workers would take care of them. Sigh

I'd sure like to see that video.
no need
just listen to the one in the op
or read my posts above quoting the perp and the law

especially because he threatened a woman who was filming when he had no reasonable expectation of privacy
then he carried out the threat against her property:
that's assault

as i said
thats why the little beatch ran like a girl

what's worse:
Dhaliwal and Const. Akin Gul alleged they were assaulted by Abdi Sheik-Qasim while investigating a noise complaint in January 2014.

Sheik-Qasim, then 32, had taken out a cellphone to record the encounter. Within seconds, Dhaliwal knocked the phone out of Sheik-Qasim’s hand; Sheik-Qasim was then arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer and failing to comply with a court order.

I DID see the video of the altercation...

Numbnuts cuffs the CAMERA...NOT the woman...just like the 2 witnesses said. There are no marks on the woman's face. The 2 witnesses had the 'behind view' which we don't see in the video.

I agree the protester was a douche, but overall much ado about nothing in my book.

This woman should get off of her hysterical Soapbox...

She's lying and giving the Right a bad name. The hyperbole is embarrassing.

Even if he just hit the camera, it is still an assault
265. (1) A person commits an assault when
(a) without the consent of another person, he applies force intentionally to that other person, directly or indirectly;(b) he attempts or threatens, by an act or a gesture, to apply force to another person, if he has, or causes that other person to believe on reasonable grounds that he has, present ability to effect his purpose; or(c) while openly wearing or carrying a weapon or an imitation thereof, he accosts or impedes another person or begs.

Go to Rebel Media online, Nick

Are you talking about this one:

http://https://youtu.be/S1eb9vQ1vAk

Respectfully, it just shows what went down in front of the camera. I'm interested in what went on behind the camera.

For starters, the attacker (I'm not defending him, I just find that Gunn Reid's version of the event reeks of shameless sensationalism) hit the camera, not her face, but those were the very next words out of her mouth, "He hit me in the face!". If she can come up with a lie that quick, what does it say about her credibility overall? I've listened to this poor excuse for a journalist spout so much drama queen nonsense in her career that it's really hard for me to take her at her word.

The 'alleged' victim, Sheila Gunn from The Rebel video is actually gloating, gleeful, and ecstatic that...er...she just got assaulted??

"If there's any doubt, there's no doubt at all"

The whole thing stinks and I'm not wasting anymore time on the topic. It's called making a mountain out of a molehill.

My original sentiments was to feel sorry for Gunn. Now that I've looked into it further, i simply don't care.
