Isn't it nice to have a leader that stands for Canada and not a globullist that thinks we should borrow money to give to shithole dictator ships?
But then you have never contributed anyway so you wouldn't know about Canadian values.
Do they? Do they really? Do they get refunds at the end of the year? Then they're not paying taxes.
Most people under 30 eagerly await tax season because they get big refund cheques to give them back what has been taken off their cheques.
Something you people on the far left never grasped about Trump is that he didn't create the resentment about immigration, especially illegal immigration. He simply saw it, recognized it had gone unaddressed by the elites for decades, and exploited it.
The same thing has happened in Europe, and continues to happen. As the numbers of foreigners rise the local population starts to get antsy, starts demanding changes, and the Lefties in charge sneer at them and call them names. Then those people start drifting to the only people who will listen to them. That's led to governments being thrown out of power all across Europe, and is growing in strength.
When Scheer talks about it he's only responding to an anger felt across Canada by both ordinary Canadians and by immigrants who took the long, legal route to get here. Now do I think he's actually going to actually DO anything about it? No. Because he doesn't really care about immigration. He supports mass immigration the same as the Liberals do. He is not the Trump that will arise in Canada. Neither is Bernier. Bernier, though, is the first of those willing to push back against it, and he will lead to others with louder voices.
Meanwhile, here and in the US and in Western Europe, the refrain from the Left is "We will support mass immigration no matter what! Even if it means the destruction of our countries, civil war and the rise of fascist regimes! Nothing is more important than us continuing to import millions of foreigners!"

And in this country, just about all the taxes individuals pay, especially poorer ones, are income taxes. I mean, we do have the GST but poorer people get that refunded. Maybe you'd like to point out what other taxes they're paying?
Excise taxes , carbon , taxes , pst , property tax , to name a few , you can add countless levies and other add ones .
