Really? That is what you came up with in retort?
I can bet any Canadian living in poverty would not think Canada is such a great place to live either. lol
By the way, if you are living in poverty in the US you are covered 100% in regards to health care. 100%. You do not pay a dime.
ya but we're covered no matter how much money you make here in Canada.. and they can't say no to you at the Hospital.
I have no idea what the difference in the pay intake vs cost of living is between the two countries.
I do believe though there is more security up here when it comes to financial stability and you need to be able to afford to buy a house and pay the mortgage up here.
I remember that little SNL skit they did back when numerous people in the USA had to abandon their homes when they could no longer afford to pay their mortgages...
btw you can't do that up in Canada, abandon your home.

I didn't see taxes in that. Compared them at all?
I just rolled the book over that I am reading...
USA- $14.95
Canada- $21.00
YIKES! A 223 Page paperback for $21
it's because of the Dollar.
and also due to a few other things..
ya that's one thing I don't like is how things are cheaper there.
oh, that reminds me..
how the hell can they allow someone to purchase a $30,000 dollar car and give them 48 months to pay and only have like $230 /mth payments??
that's unheard of here in Canada.
heck if I were purchasing a $30,000 car in Canada.. First off it wouldn't be $30,000 and if you were to set up 48 mth payments you'd be paying like TWICE that amt!!
Canadian financial institutions are way more concerned about their well-being and financial stability..
which is why our banks didn't crap their pants when the economy went down the tubes.
