Thanks!
I want to hear the Kris song - I'm a big fan of his more dynamic stuff. I like his ballads, too, just that ballads are more common. He's versatile and can go for many styles and moods - dark, fun, romantic - don't ask me why but this this reminds me most of Frank Sinatra. Different genre, but. Whatever.
Cook: I like that you called it an "earworm," because that's important! Looking at it all like it's business, you have to interest the greatest number of people. Somehow that seems to mean, these days - slightly generic sounding songs as lead singles. Hopefully as an artist you get a big hit that establishes you and brings you a lot of attention. Anyhow, I hope to hear it soon and I hope it's a huge hit.
I watched Kris's song silent. Ha. Had to. It looks like the band is really into it. Drew's drumming (though all I can see are the sticks - looks a little mechanical to me. I probably just miss Ryland). Wish I could see Andrew more. Love the bit where Torres and Cale move together. Kris always looks like he's transported to another realm. I hope he gets to play that venue again or do other club performances while he's in L.A. Great to see him with the band again.
Looks like Ryland was at the show! (Still on tour, though). Word is that he tried to get back in time to rehearse but couldn't (he was in Colorado). I'm getting this from MJ's blog - guess you guys can, too, if you want.
