You know, as far as international exposure goes, Idols are not often publicized outside the U.S. (and maybe a bit in Canada). It happened for Kelly because she had huge hits and they pushed Adam like their lived depended on it, but otherwise, it didn't really happen for anybody else. I'm sure Daughtry is still mostly unknown to a lot of people outside North America and so is Carrie. They sent Archie do some shows in England, but they never actively pushed his career there. Same thing for Jordin I believe. David Cook didn't get that treatment either. Also, a lot of American acts are unknown in Europe, same goes for super popular European acts that are unknown in American. The music scenes are actually quite different. So I guess I'm not that surprised they're concentrating their efforts in the U.S. right now. Touring internationally can be really really expensive.
