Slezak is okay but a little meddlesome. I sometimes wish he would just let well enough alone. He's just projecting his own perceptions as an outsider, but the reality is possibly very different. I think this version of The Truth has a great chance to do really well. I wouldn't want negative buzz to kill its chances.

And Harry has a weave. (A good one.)

I read Slezak's interview while Lady Gaga was on, so I missed the pyrotechnics. I listened to her. I don't like her singing much, it's so bland and sort of dead-sounding. I'm sure her many fans on MJ's blog were enthralled.

Speaking of MJ's and the stuff we were talking about the other day...I appreciate the opinions that it's her blog and she can do...whatever...but all those people, just rehashing the same old issues...I mean, yesterday people were talking about Adam being called theatrical at his audition, by Simon, and how maybe Simon really meant gay. How many times can these same things be dredged up? She can do whatever she wants but if she doesn't call a moratorium on discussing Season 8 she's losing this guy.

I know it's easy to say, but today I changed my mind and figured Casey would be safe tonight (and he is). I don't know why. Maybe because he has a lot of fans, and one bad performance doesn't necessarily get you eliminated. (And also, Harry said he was better in rehearsals, which may have helped a bit.)

Well, either Aaron or Mike going is just fine with me, and since it's Aaron. I'm okay -- aside from the points issue.

He's not really that much of an inspiration Ryan.

The main thing I got from Kris/Slezak is that Written All Over My face won't be the third single.

Thank god. Because two singles, two controversies.. don't need the 2nd Script song. Even if I love the song.

MJ seems to think the group numbers were lip-synched. I didn't think so.

No I didn't think they were lip-synched either. Sounded live to me.

I am now in 122nd place in the pool. Thanks a lot Casey fans, thanks a lot. Actually for someone who only got 2 points this week I didn't drop all that much.

Good point.

I don't think these things are really controversies outside of the Idol fandom. Covergate was just a fabrication of the haters. I don't think people who listen to the radio care about any of this stuff, they just listen to the music and either they like it or they don't.

Agreed. People are still tweeting about how much they love No Boundaries.

Oh, no.. is that the 3rd? 3 singles -- 3 controversies? If so then we're in the clear. Things come in 3's afterall.
