Cool that Kris was trending. But what was the joke? Kris sandwiched between someone and Elizabeth Hasselback (I guess). I didn't get why that was funny as I don't know these other people.

I didn't really get the joke, I just liked that Kris was in the top searches. :)

That's possible but if you look closely two of the girls are holding clarinets so I don't think it's AWM. Maybe they're just mobbing him? I don't know. Anyhow, that's a great picture!

By the way, they're no longer letting me view the poll results, never mind vote, so can you let me know how Kris is doing?

Yeah if I was a high schooler, I'd totally mob him. It's not the first mob he's been in and it won't be the last. Never fails though the mobs always look full of joy.

50/50 right now.

Plus the votes never seem to change anything. It's an epic battle, lol.

Someone on Top Idol found this description of the photo in question:

"The picture featured above was taken as Kris was leaving the floor. The kids for the most part were being very restrained in this format but as Kris left he gave a few of them hugs and they couldn’t hold back any more. They mobbed Kris. The announcer called for security to help Kris out and called for the students to take their seat so they could continue with their concert."
