Did I say I didn't like Kris's performance? I liked it. Just not one I go back and watch/listen to. I just don't like the genre.

I know people are going to say the judges threw Casey under the bus and I know people on TWoP (who seem to like Casey) will cry foul, but I thought he was really awful. I'd bet right now on him going home.

She really doesn't have a feel for the rhythm of this kind of swinging music.

Can someone turn the band down?

Crystal seemed uncomfortable, but I have a feeling her studio performance will be really good.

Thank you judges for judging Crystal. She deserves to have honest critcisim. Judges were right IMHO.

Totally. I'm glad Simon said what he said. Twice. I hope she remembers it. I didn't like her performance at all.

Oh, forgot to say this earlier, but one of Sinatra's daughters is scary looking. A good argument against plastic surgery.

When Big Mike is the best of the night (so far), you know you have a sucky top 5 right?

Not that I was as enthused as the judges, but he sounded good and at ease at least.

While I agree, I can't see any of them singing this type of music I do find it interesting to see who can. The idea is to be versatile, and it does show a different facet of their voices, and you just never know what you're going to get.

Mike was good, but Lee was really great.

He doesn't believe he can win. But he totally could if he takes Kara's advice.

So Bye-bye Casey? I'm counting on you people to get me more points... LOL

...was just okay for me, dude. I didn't think any one of these people were all that good tonight.

Like people have said before, it's like they're grading on a curve this year. Five or six people from the past two seasons were better than Lee.

I can see why they have themes like this. AI presents a variety of music and mentors. If they didn't have this kind of genre they wouldn't have people like Harry on. Also, they could possibly have a contestant who does excel at this genre. They don't happen to, this year, but they could.

The other thing is, people might have said that Linda Ronstadt would never sing this music, but she did end up doing an album of it. So you never know. A lot of the idols end up singing show tunes, in Broadway musicals.

Yeah, I agree. He's already come a long way with his level of confidence, but he's not quite there yet.

Casey is toast. Casey's performance tonight is the best thing that ever happened to Aaron Kelly.
