Well, the rest of his album is my musical nightmare, but I like WWFM. And it is a hit. So, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Adam at the MMVA's (not that I'm going to watch), especially if he has a show the day before in Toronto.

I try to stay away from the places that talk about him. Makes not thinking about him (and his more obnoxious fans, mostly!!!) way easier. I even stopped reading the thread on DCO about the sales of other Idols because they were always talking about Adam (not in a positive way, mind you, but even that was too much).
I'm also fed up with their creepy, immature attacks on Kris. I don't know what to do except get away from all of it. I rarely spend much time reading MJ's blog any more. The Kris thread on TWoP sucks, because it's invaded by creepy Glamberts who want to make it hard for some nice fans to just enjoy a guy and his music. I'm tired of them taking over the comments section of every article about Kris. And I don't give a flying crap whether Adam is an AI judge or runs for president.

First, the WTF? news: apparently, he co-wrote a song called No Reply with our dear Kara DioGuardi (probably during the writing sessions for his first album) that's going to end up on the re-release on Frankie Negron's latest album. Who's Frankie Negron? He's a salsa singer from Puerto Rico. I'll be curious to hear THAT.
Also, for the second year, Cook will run in the Race For Hope in Washington DC, on May 2nd. The money goes for Brain Cancer Research. His team has topped their goal of 100,000$ for the second year, which is really amazing.

Actually I've always thought the MMVA's were the reason they pushed Adam so hard in Canada -- and by they I mean the CTV/Much Music/CHUM media group. They wanted him at the award show so to do that they had to make him a hit here. Not that the song isn't good, because I like it and I like the album. But that's the reason for the pimping here. No other reason makes sense. Especially since they didn't play anything by Kris -- like anything for months. When the DJ's on the CHUM morning show liked Kris better during Idol and are usually first on the Idol bandwagon? It's the only thing that makes sense. And having Adam on the MMVA's explains pretty much everything in regards to CTV/CHUM/Much Music.

Thanks, SleepinIn! Surprised you didn't mention that the anchorman said some of Kris's Haiti footage was supposed to be shown on IGB. Obviously, reputable parties informed the media of that. Apparently, that was still the expectation it was going to be shown, that close to showtime. When Kris was hosting the watch party, he probably was expecting to see the footage! Ugh.
