Canadian Idol Fans Watching American Idol

Hinder, Ack! Please don't sing Hinder again Lee! Yeah, I thought he was pitchy in parts and I prefer him with his guitar, but this guy, for me fou you, has my favorite voice from all the guys. He has so many textures in his voice. I wish he would do something quieter or slower to show off those textures. Also, he connects, he's not empty, I feel compelled to watch him perform.
Wow, that's pretty hard... Casey for sure. I would have said Andrew as well, but the guy has a lot to live up to next week. Lee (I hope!!!). Aaron. Big Mike. I feel pretty safe with those, no? I hope Alex for the other spot, but I fear it might be Tim.
That leaves out Todrick, John and Jermaine. Yeah, I think these guys are goners, if not this week, than next. But, but, but, the results were pretty shocking last week, so who knows.
What do you think?

Mike: I thought he had good stage presence, picked a good song for him, and his vocal was solid. I wouldn't be interested in buying it though.
John: I hate his hair. That's bad of me to say right? I just do. It's very shallow and I know that.. I still hate it. He started good, had some bobbles and wobbles, and it was ...nice? So meh for me. Wouldn't buy it.
Casey: So I think I have a Casey prejudice. I'm not crazy about him. Once again.. why sing a song everyone else has done already? But, I sort of want him to stick around to see what his pre-show ritual is. But I actually liked Bo singing this way better. I liked the guitar...
Alex: Comes across as really likeable. It sounds like this could be his song. I loved it. Would totally buy it. (and just may)
Todrick: Do Not Like Todrick. I totally agreed with Randy, just sing the song.
Jermaine: I liked Jermaine and his onesie. Did not like his singing.
Andrew: Andrew the breakdancer? LOL I thought his tone was good, but the song choice was odd and it got boring.

Alex though.. LOVED.
I was really surprised, in a way, at how mediocre Alex sounded in the little recap segment at the end, though. I guess he doesn't have a great voice, but it's more that he had a moment with his song. He had good phrasing and he told a story; he created a magic moment.
Ha! Some people on my twitter timeline have been voting for Lee (by text) and they left the messages for the girls or something, so that person found out that Siobhan had the pimp spot tomorrow night. Wonder if Idol will realize their mistake.
Complete order for tomorrow (assuming they don't change it): Crystal, Haeley, Lacey, Katie, Didi, Michelle, Lilly, Katelyn, Paige, Siobhan

I forgot about Mike! Is he going to be this season's Scott, for me? The one I always forget performed?
Yeah, he should make it, I guess. Not sure of that.
Lee is definite unless he really blows it next week. I'm not wild about him, though I agree he does have more to his voice than most of the others. I usually feel like clearing my throat when I listen to the raspier-voiced singers (not Cook, but Gokey sometimes. Paul Clifford is way too raspy for me, for ex. -- and so is Oliver Pigott).
Casey should make it, but he wasn't great this week. I know there is no love for him from you guys, but to me he seems like a nice guy and pretty humble. I wish they wouldn't try to push him as a hunky guy, because I think he's more a nice guy next door type, a regular guy. Also, I'm impressed he owns his own house, and fixed it all up himself, for whatever that's worth.
I think Andrew is also going to make it. Aaron, too, probably. After that, I don't know.

Jim Breuer: For all you American Idol fans. (I never saw it...sorry) I met Chris Allen last night. He was the opener in a private show we did for the GM's of SAM's CLUB in Arkansas . He was an impressive kid . Very humbled . He was there with his parents , wife and friends he grew up with....the way life should be..I'm a new fan!

Last week I voted a lot for Alex, and nobody else except for the votes for Lee. I just wanted to make sure he (Alex) stuck around. I'll probably vote some more for him now - though I don't have too much time to vote tonight.

Yeah, Alex is also getting good reviews on TWoP, not by everyone, but still a lot of people. I think the opinions are very mixed in general, which is probably a sign that nobody had what we could call a great performance. Jermaine and John are disliked by all though.
