I know right, I hate myself, I agreed with Randy!!! Todrick changed it up way too much and it just didn't sound enjoyable. Also, I dislike Todrick Hall on principle, because of his past as a scamer (is that a word?).

Aaron Kelly. They obviously really want him around, because they're pimping him even though he was extremely meh. Is his voice that great or am I missing something? Hard to say how nervous he was -- kind of the Matt Giraud effect.
Guess they need to "cast" a 16 year old country singer.
Aaron is certainly an adorable little thing. I'll never be a fan, but the guy has talent. He's really Archie #2 for me, if Archie was doing country. Aaron seems less awkward than Archie though, which is a good thing.
ETA: I don't think Aaron is an amazing singer, but I didn't think he was bad at all. Just seemed nervous.

I don't understand why "You've totally blown your opportunity" (Simon) and "I think people will vote for you, I think you'll be back." (Ellen) is considered judging. It's just de-pimping/pimping. At least on CI they're somewhat subtle. Also, they're cancelled.

Listening to these guys tonight, it's ridiculous to me that people actually suggest Kris has an average voice, or that he can't sing well. Or he's not a strong performer??? Right.

I mean, Joe Munoz. He has some charisma. He has a voice kind of like Anoop's. I mean, good-sounding but not really able to hit the notes like a pro. It sounds less than great to my ears. But he's better than the others were. And he does have a sense of rhythm.

You know how I love Jason Mraz, right? And Mraz is a GREAT singer. Joe was just okay. Kinda cheesy. He wasn't terrible though. Greg Neufeld still owns that song on Idol for me.
Tyler is an interesting character, but he's not a great singer. I have a problem with the judges (what's new?). They liked him for his 70s still previously and Kara told him to bring his "moves" to the top 24. What did they expect him to do?

Yeah, I didn't think he was great, but I just love his tone. LOVE! And Randy should listen to Lee's music, cause he's certainly not a hard rocker. And wow, he got an endorsement from Simon! I actually expected Simon to tell him he had no star potential (which, whatever), but he likes him.
Because I like him, I'm willing to say his off-keyness was because of nerves, lol. And I kinda want to give him a hug, him and his big blue eyes. Not that I think he's that cute, but I like his sensitive eyes, lol!

About Simon, I think it's because he thinks Lee is more similar to David I guess.

John Park. Not a great voice. Runs are ill-advised, especially when you can't do them.
I can't see any of these guys so far becoming the Idol, performing on their own tour, whatever. Maybe Lee, if he usually sings better than what I just heard. And he probably does. He has personality. But there's not that much original about him, really.
Michael Lynche. Why does he have a guitar? He's not playing it. It looks stupid!

I think it's still early to really judge. David's first two performances in the semis were so-so, but then Hello happened on top 16 week. I'm willing to let some of them some time (some I just want gone right now!). Lots of nerves in the first week, understandably.
