Heh, I don't think DialIdol's working tonight. For the longest time, Katie was the only one with a score. Did you get a lot of busy signals? I guess there was not that much voting going on, and after tonight's show, I wouldn't be surprised.

I didn't get any busy signals, but then I only ended up voting for Lilly so who knows if the others had busy signals?

On DialIdol you can also look at the graphs. Look at "DiHard Graphs." Looks like Katie got by far the most votes, with Crystal a distant second, and then Haeley (!).

DialIdol.com - Measuring the busy signal.

Yeah, I know about the graphs, but DialIdol measures busy signals. Someone who has more busy signals will get a higher score. So, yes, it seems Katie got a lot of busy signals, but since the others are all so low, I took it to mean that the lines were not very busy tonight, so I'm not sure how representative it is for tonight. And the only Geo results they have is for Ohio, so maybe something is wonky.

Lots of people on TWoP seem to have loved Siobhan. That leaves me a bit perplexed, since I thought that yes, the girl had an okay voice, but she was kind of off-putting and I thought the song choice was just so weird.

I agree with you. Last year I stopped looking at TWoP after they banned me, but I was ready to stop anyway. I don't know where people are coming from over there. I haven't looked at it (other than the Kris thread) this year at all.

Siobhan is rather Adam-like. She reminded me of him when she did all the high note singing -- was it last week? Since there were so many Adam fans on the TWoP AI threads last year, it's possible they just like a different style of singing than I do. She really didn't interest me this week at all. I'm pretty sure she'll make Top 12, though.

I like the episodes threads usually on TWoP. And the Grassy Knoll of course!! I still prefer reading TWoP that than the comments on MJ's blog!

Grassy Knoll is pretty good, though I haven't read it this year. Even though in theory, it should have a lot of off-the-wall conspiracy theorists on it, it seems like I remember it was really the most intelligent AI thread.

You're right about the commenters on MJs' blog. What I do like about her blog's comments at times is that it's more of a chatty thing, while TWoP seems to have more of the "essay"-type posts.

I'm officially decalring right now, though, that I'm not going to answer, or even read, any more posts, ever, that say that Kris doing covers is a bad thing. They're invariably from Adam L fans who can't think of anything else to criticize about Kris, so they need to twist something great into something bad. None of Adam's songs originate with him, in any real sense. They're not literally "covers," but they might as well be. Kris has written a lot of songs and these people want to make out like he "has" to sing covers, and it's bad. Gaaaah.

Declaring.

I can spell.

Weird. MJ changed her original post about the show last night. She originally wrote that her favorites of the night were Lilly Scott, Crystal Bowersox, and Didi Benami. I swear she wrote this, because I posted that I agreed with her. Unless I was really, really sleepy. Because today her post says: "My favorites tonight were Lilly Scott, Crystal Bowersox, Siobhan Magnus." I'm pretty certain she didn't list Siobhan last night, because I never would have agreed with that.

CHUM added LLWD!!!!

*dancing around the room*

Yaaaay! :eek:ccasion9::eek:ccasion9::eek:ccasion9: The conquest of Canada begins!!! :canada:

I heard LLWD today and it was #4 on the Kiss 108 countdown. (I think it's by request.) Still number 4 on a countdown, after all this time. They've been playing it for weeks. What's funnier is that I can hear it over and over and it never really gets old. It's a great song in that way.

Two posts from that blog:

Kris has his first top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100!
LW-TW
21-19 Live Like We’re Dying – Kris Allen
31-28 Whataya Want From Me – Adam Lambert

That is actually Kris’s THIRD Top 20 hit — NoBo and Heartless also both went Top 20 on Billboard Top 100 chart.
But yay!!!!!

Considering Kris hasn't appeared on Idol yet, that is a very nice bump. It may even have to do with those Ford commercials. (BTW, it's #6 on iTunes pop.)

I know this is about Haiti, but...did the guy from New York really have to say what he said about Adam? A lot of people thought he should have won? He didn't. Honestly! I'm not kidding. Really. The show is over now.

Chicago...a little less annoying but...still asking about Adam? Really. It kind of reminds me of poor Jacob getting asked about Kalan for something like a year or more. That turned out okay, though. :) Funny how that happens.

And quite seriously...why do they talk about old stuff like how Kris's album debuted at #11? That's fine, but how about someone mentioning he has a gold single that's charting well and is soon to go platinum? Do you think 19 even provides them with this info? If not, that's a wasted opportunity.

And Kris...when they ask you what you're doing and why you're so busy, you could mention you have a song out and it's doing quite well...could mention how you had a little Asian tour...you know? He makes me shake my head sometimes. Saying he's getting to make music... so vague.

Okay, Idol is about to start. Bring on the men!! (First time I've ever said that sentence in my life, I swear.)
