Did you guys read the longer Kris interview with Brian Mansfield? It's really good. There are some things I never read before. I can find it if I wade through the headlines thread.

(By the way -- the stuff in that headlines thread. RCA people telling Adam's fans , via his website, not to bug DJs to play Adam's song. And apparently also getting a little fed up with fans asking them about marketing strategy? And mj being asked on her blog why she's never done a story on Kris in her NewYork Post "Idol" column since Kris won, though she's done a few about Adam, apparently.)

Comments like these are always nice to read: "He's truly talented. He's dedicated to his craft. I think we haven't even seen how good he can be. I'm very hopeful for him."

It's funny, the AP article (the one with the Monopoly reference) was translated in French and was published (among others places I guess) on the website of one of the biggest newspapers in Québec. It's accompanied by a really nice picture:

So, all hell broke lose again in the headlines thread? Is it true the thing about RCA telling fans to stop harassing the radio DJs? That's creepy.

Yep, I really liked that Brian Mansfield article. Especially the extra bits that didn't make it. I liked Kris's response to No Boundaries - even though I still hate it - he's right as a song it really wasn't given breathing room for the people that liked it to like it. (there are a few out there - just not me)

Holy Adam drama, eh? Every day is a new Adam drama. It's exhausting. Now there's Out Magazine editor criticizing Adam and his management for not letting Adam be Gay enough. Like he's got to lead the parade when he hasn't even put out a record? Give the guy some space.

Did you see Kris's new website design? (YOU DID, YOU DID!) It's got moving parts! (album art, eh? I'm looking at the liner notes tomorrow whether or not the CD comes in the mail anyway)

The DJ drama is interesting in regards to Adam's singles too. Since he now has 3 out. TFM, got some AC adds today (3), FYE had some Z100 Dj's diss it and play WWFM instead (and I agree with them.. I like it better) FYE only received 2 adds. LLWD got another 3 adds (which also seems low to me) but it's chugging along.

Yeah, not a lot of adds today. BTW, Whataya (I'll keep calling it that, it's ridiculous) didn't have any adds, but you probably saw that SleepinIn! Meanwhile Daughtry got 18 HAC adds... nice to be more established in this weird musical climate!

So more inportantly... what you think Kris will sing tomorrow on GMA (besides LLWD)? And what do you want him to sing?

I'm leaning towards the Truth, Alright With Me, or Red Guitar. For my wants.

What will Kris sing? How many songs does he get? I'd like him to do one of those mashups, maybe. I actually like every song he does, and I don't even care which ones he picks Seriously. His taste is so in tune with what I like it's not even a question of whether I'll like what he'll sing.

How about you, since you asked? What do you want to hear him do? (What time will he be on, by the way? I don't have to go to work early tomorrow.

I'm excited about what's going on with him. I really think they're building his career brick by brick. I'm also proud of him. He's handled himself so well. And he even seems to be growing as an artist.

Okay, SleepinIn, we'll see how it turns out. I think he'll probably do the same songs he did at the Dolphins game, but then, this is Kris, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. Um, what time is it, again?

Does this mean what I think it means? Is Kris going to do some modeling for Comme des Garcons? That would be awesome.

I wonder what Kris read that made him really upset? Does the name Rickey come to mind? Maybe he was reading mj's blog. heh.

OK, I still haven't received the content of my pass (and the pass has disappeared from iTunes), I slept horribly (about two hours) and my DVR decided to suddenly re-boot WHILE Kris was performing on GMA.

Seriously, I'm going back to bed, this is going to be a crappy day.

ETA: What did he perform first? LLWD? I heard he was going to perform again, so at least, I won't have missed all of it.

I also just sent an e-mail to iTunes, I can't believe this is happening, come on.

Hearing Kris sing made me feel better, LOL. Too bad I missed the other song and only heard LLWD. Will have to wait for videos! EPIC FAIL DVR, epic fail.
