Frampton is very, very familiar, lol. But, oh dear gracious. Il Divo. *shudder*

It does look like they are trying for a radio hit, which isn't a bad thing and I think David is pretty smart about music. He's got good taste, and I don't think he'll let himself be pushed into something he doesn't feel. It will be good. :)

This is funny.

Kris teaching some guitar chords to the Disney radio host.. also singing a little Whitesnake.. LMAO.

Oh, yeah, that's definitely rotten behavior, no doubt about it.

LOL! Anyhow, it's over and done with, at least.

Um...I think it might be good for singers/musicians to work with writers whose style is totally different. I mean, I wouldn't worry about it compromising the style of the particular artist. It sounds scary, but this is how creativity happens. Different types of artists...it broadens people to try and find common ground when they're different.

Who's this Frampton guy? Peter's brother? I know I've heard of him recently.

Brian Mansfield reports Kris's Alright With Me has sold about 21,000 copies. I saw this in passing so I don't know if was in total, or last week.

I liked Kris teaching about "koo-erds" (chords).

Hey, hasn't any video turned up of Kris in Arkansas, other than what we saw? This has to be a first - lack of video for a Kris performance. I actually need my fix, man.

This cracks me up, Sass is tweeting about Twitter being the ****ter and Paula is tweeting up with people sentiments.

ETA: I should have guessed that **** was a bad word. D'oh.

I'm trying to figure out what word has four letters and "ter" at the end. I'm drawing a blank. [Never mind. By George, I think I've got it. But I don't really know what it means. No kidding. Is that good or bad?]

Oh, that Andrew Frampton! I thought LLWD was written by David Hodges and Pink.

Jacob writes like some of my friends tweet. "Last scene" (for "last seen").

Jacob. :p

I would have kept Jermaine and his onesie. I like him. His singing however is just not good.

I am failing in the Idol pool - I think I got 1 point there.

That's a great song for Danny and he sounds great on it. He should have a lot of success with it. (I won't be buying it -- the music divide is still great) But - Holy chatterbox Danny. It's time to stop talking and get off the stage now.

Oh, and US itunes has the Olympic closing ceremony finale for sale for $.99. Hedley might be on that part.

Gaaahhhh! I missed it. I was in the mood for it tonight, too! *sobs*

And I haven't always been in the mood for Idol this year. Yes, it's true. I admit it! Adam spoiled it for me this year. (If I had a nickel for every time someone on a certain blahg said that, I'd be able to buy 37 copies of For Your Entertainment, the Deluxe version.)

MJ claims there is video after the jump, but there isn't.

So Danny was still yapping? Give me "inarticulate" Kris Allen any day.

I don't think this (see link) will give any competition to James Patterson. Or Tolstoy.

When will this masterpiece be published? | Top Idol

(Yes, I commented.)

So Tim Urban lives on. Is he not much, much worse than John Park? And why is Todrick still there?

Couldn't they have eliminated more than four tonight?

If Tim Urban is in the Top 10, I won't be paying 88 dollars for tix to the tour this time (and 40 dollars for parking!). In fact, if any of them are in the Top 10, I don't think I will. Seems likely they will be, though...

Just watched the group number. Not a dancer in the bunch. That lip-synching is ridiculous. Why? So they can move around? I wonder if they're even singing?! Maybe it's Debra Byrd and...whoever. Why can't they just sit on stools and sing some decent songs?

Well, take heart you missed Danny - but Scott is still to come. Danny was chatting up a storm tonight.

So Tim Urban lives on. Is he not much, much worse than John Park?

Oh, yes. Yes, he is. He's also much, much cuter. But he is overstaying his welcome. You did catch that he has 9 brothers and sisters right? He's got a network! :)

I know!! Todrick. He cost me 4 points. LOL

The crazy book lady is just plain nuts.

ETA: The Group NUMBER!!! How could I forget? Why were they auto-tuning them? Isn't it the point of Idol to find someone who can sing without that crap? Grr!

Just watched Danny. I hate to continue in this negative vein, but...gee, I really didn't like that. I don't think he's exactly a commanding presence onstage, and his voice is not appealing, to me. I kept thinking how Simon thought he was one of two people who should be the Idol. Why?

ETA: He's not a country singer. It's a bad fit. Not a totally bad fit, I guess, but he's not Jaydee Bixby. Not too long ago, he sang the NA and he sounded like an r & b singer. And what's funny: tonight he seemed awkward and amateurish compared to a certain Mr. Allen, who always was better, but who has gained in stature and experience in the past nine months.

ETA2: I admit Danny seemed like a believable contender when he was on AI8, but I wonder now how much of that was show pimpage and staging. He was pretty good on the tour, though. Still, tonight he just seemed to be smaller in impact, somehow. Basically, he hasn't grown a lot.

I told you Tim Urban was one of those lucky people. Untalented and lucky.

First, there was the fact that he was sent home, then he ended up in the Top 24.

There will be more.
