Did you guys notice when Siobhan was safe, no one hugged her? I'm probably reading too much into that.

So, yeah, I still don't get why Scott should get a solo and not Matt. But I guess we don't know what will happen yet.

Funny to hear Debbie, the stage manager, yelling from offstage at Ryan.

One thing I'm going to have to review CI to check on. I remember Jacob's amazing sing-out (I guess it's sing-out, not sing-off, right?) to...the Cheap Trick song, the name escapes me, at the moment. But I also remember him doing an encore of I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, and messing up the lyrics...and I thought that was his sing-out. I'm confused.

I just saw the part where she came out at the end and apologized! HA! Very funny.

Ryan is very cool. I don't mean as in hip, I mean, under pressure he's cool and smooth.

You guys have any idea why Ryan suddenly was into Kris after Kris's appearance last week? He called him "incredibly successful," and they talked like equals, not like before. And he said he proved why he won. Total validation.

Other than Kris having the Simon Fuller seal of approval, I wonder what else it could be? Not that there needs to be anything else, probably. But I suppose these people really did think Kris might be another Taylor. And here he has a record that's a substantial hit and about to go platinum. That must have a lot ot do with it.

Soooo weird to see that "other Jacob" again. I don't know if other people feel this way. I've never really seen anyone change so much in a relatively short time. When I watch that clip it's just a different person than the current Jacob Hoggard. He even sings differently.

I guess I would have to look at the CDs to figure out when that Don't Want To Miss A Thing encore happened. But the clip you posted was definitely his sing-out.

The charity single that is only available for one month and if plugged properly would continue to bring the maximum amount
of money to Haiti and happens to be sung by a certain Kris Allen which, if it wasn't, I probably wouldn't really be saying this. I know. That's so freakin shallow. Shoot me. Bang

From what I hear from the always -- cough -- reliable -- cough-cough -- posters on a certain blog that shall remain anonymous -- but it's pink and has a lot of people named Tess and Tiger92 on it -- Kris fans have been pestering Ryan on twitter to mention Let It Be occasionally and he has responded to them in an irritated fashion. I find this hard to believe, because, aside from Jim C, Michael Slezak, L Parker, missaddicted, SleepinIn, yours truly, and the rest of the continent of North America who voted for him, plus the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and parts of Europe and South Africa, and possibly some penguins on Antarctica who like Kris's recording of Lifetime,, for no known reason, and are known to mate uncontrollably when they hear the song -- and of course, all those cheating Arkansans -- we all know Kris has no fans to speak of.

That whole recap was really funny. Jim is getting really good. And of course, KA lends the enterprise a touch of class, does he not?

Oh, yeah. Correction. When I said in an earlier post that Jermaine was an early favorite of mine, it was, of course, the other Jermaine who was a favorite. Not Jermaine "Jesus is my homeboy" Sellers.

I'm only half-attentive this year. As I said, Adam has spoiled season 9 for me, and then, too, there are just too many Jermaines.

What happened to that other Jermaine, anyhow? The one who could sing?

I follow Ryan on twitter and I didn't see him tweeting fans about Let It Be. Seems like another tempest in a glass of water (I'm pretty sure this isn't an expression in English... I just literally translated the expression from French, it was the best fit, lol).

That's good to know! I was wondering how come Kris was in NYC last night. Also, he was wearing the same shirt/coat from his interview with Jim in November, no? (Also, shorter hair!).

It was the penguins!!! Yes!! Of course. We must get that news to Kerry Kolsch at once before her book goes to print!!!

I think there was also a colony of sea lions off San Francisco Bay that liked Kris, and swayed the important California sea lion vote against Adam. If you listen closely, they're saying "Kris, Kris, Kris, Kris." Or maybe that's No Boundaries. Not sure.

LOL! That was pretty a good translation, actually. The English expression is "tempest in a teapot."

See? I knew that stuff about Ryan being annoyed was a bunch of baloney. I'm not sure what the French translation is of that. Maybe "C'est des conneries!" (I looked that up!)

I stopped following Ryan a while ago when he was tweeting a lot about Heidi and Spencer, and I didn't care about Speidi. Maybe I should follow him again.

I see on iTunes LLWD has now passed Let It Be.

I totally don't get AI not promoting LIB as a charity single this week, and for every week it's available. Promotion is everything. Frequent and constant promotion (even to the point of ridicule) is the only way anything sells. Why not have Ryan just mention it's for sale? At least once, every night the show is on, until the month is up. How simple is that? I would think that would only be normal. I would actually expect more promo than that. But I'll settle for any.

It's Idol's own single, after all -- for their own chosen cause. Besides, not everyone watched last week. There needs to be a reminder, for the people who missed that show.

I love KRIM!!! More Krim always.

Ryan has over 3 million followers. (I can't remember if I currently follow him or not though.. lol you're right lots of Spiedi and the Kardashians, which makes me question Ryan's taste just a bit.. ) so I'm sure mentions of Kris are not the only thing Ryan doesn't respond to. I'm sure he gets tweeted stuff all the time that he ignores.

But, seriously, they should promote the single I agree. If it's part of Idol Gives Back, which it is. It makes sense to get the most money you can from people while you can. They don't even have to mention it, just do it at the end of the results show as a screen flash.

Yay for the tour dates.. boo for no Canada. But if he's coming to Canada I'd want him to wait until the CD gets more airplay...I heard it in a store the other day.. whoot! First time!
