I think Lilly is actually a lot like Kris as well. And I like her too. I said that I wasn't taking anything away from Kris because you get really protective of Kris, so I didn't want to offend or something!

You think I get protective about Kris?? You mean like you get about David Cook? I didn't say that. I wasn't at all offended by something like that. Nah, I just think Crystal is...oh, well, let's say Kris probably wouldn't ever have dreds. And Michael Jackson probably wasn't her childhood inspiration. But I think we can agree they both are great, both know who they are, etc. But the judges never praised him as much all season as they already have pimped her in two weeks! lol

(I've never seen those movies you're talking about... 80s movies? I was still a kid!

Thanks for making me feel ancient. By the way, yeah, I know that when I make fun of the sparkle cows, I'm probably the same age as some of them. But for some reason, that's probably why I should be allowed to make fun of them.

Didi was not great, but they really want to throw her under the bus, because they really don't need another pretty while girl, a Lilly Scott lite, in the top 12. I mean, they will say other people are lousy, but "I think people will vote to keep you around," etc. They're casting. I mean, she is better than some of the crappy ones they pimped.

Oh, man. :) You need to watch Ferris. It's life altering. That is all.

Ally Sheedy yeah, I can see it. Ally was pretty odd too.

My Top 6 girls: No real order.. except top 3 and bottom 3 top 6.

1> Crystal
2> Lily
3> Siobhan

I'd add Caitlyn, Katie and... Paige...

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it.

---Ferris Bueller

(missaddicted, Ferris Bueller is probably more popular with kids I know than it was with my generation. You should see it! What do you think, SleepinIn?

LOL! I love that you started your post with this:

You think I get protective about Kris??

And ended with this:

But the judges never praised him as much all season as they already have pimped her in two weeks!

I find it hard to laugh at the older fans, you know. I guess I should because I'm younger and it would be cool (no, not really), but Cook has a lot of older fans as well... maybe not as old as the people in that Glammy party photo, but still. Judging a bit as an outsider to the most obsessed fans, I could say that some of them are awesome. They're invested, but they're also funny and snarky, and interested in a lot of music, they're really interesting people with diversified interests. On the other hand, I admit that some are a bit disturbing. Like they have both this super cougar-like attitude towards David, which is a bit disturbing in itself, especially the fact that they say it out loud and are proud to say so, and at the same time, they sometimes act like moms to him. And it's even weirder when they do both at the same time. So yeah, I've seen good and bad behavior from the older fans, so it's hard to categorize them.

I just said that to be funny!! And so that I could mention your protectiveness of someone called David Cook.

That was meant to be funny!!

That's why I laughed!

No, I don't really feel protective of David though. I'm a huge fan, but I don't think the guy needs protection. Reading bad comments about him doesn't affect me, unless the person is really unfair (same thing with Kris). I'm a pretty laid back David Cook fan honestly. I'll post about him, because I love him (in a non-personal way). Even when we talked about his new song on Sunday, we argued a bit on the tempo thing, but it wasn't about David. You would've told me you disliked the song that I wouldn't have really cared.

See, no offense, okay, but you're relating this to David Cook and/or his fans, but this was only about Adam Lambert and his fans. And I don't think you can compare the two, when you come right down to it.

I mean, that quote about the wet panties, on the previous pages, somewhere. What I quoted. I have to say, I firmly believe that when people act in a highly embarassing way, you have every right to laugh at them.

I think you can actually. That's the Idol watching crowd. The main demographic watching Idol, that's them. And some of the Glamberts do act exactly like some of the weirder Cook fans. That's why I made the parallel. I was talking about what I knew! I don't really know the Glamberts, I "know" the Cook fans way better.

But, yeah, the panties talk was indeed embarassing.

I think I'm out of here for the night, the climate is somewhat tense. Sorry, no offense.

That's too bad you feel that way.

Wow, that's awesome! Can you tell me what those numbers mean, SleepinIn?

I would really love to post that on MJ's blog tomorrow in the headlines thread.
What is Idolsnow?

Not really, but it seems good.

Idolsnow - isn't that the ap that JPL talked to the guy from Billboard about? It sounds vaguely familiar anyway.

I'm heading to bed too - Night guys! Remember -- it's just a tv show. (with good music) ;)

Hey, I just want to point out something for whatever its worth. If I say Adam looks gross because he trowels make up on, that's different than people who say he looks gross because he has bad skin. Like, that, to me, is not something to be mocked. He can't help it. Or if Kris is short, or Scott is blind. I see these things as basically stuff that I don't find worthy of snark. But if someone chooses to dress a certain way, that's their choice, and I feel I can remark on their choice. I don't think it's wrong. Because they're doing something on the public stage and it's done for public consumption. It isn't done at home. So that's how I explain myself. If I need explaining. :)

As for the Glamberts, I suppose my reactions to them are colored by things like some of them walking out of that New York concert. That's rotten behavior. And then their cohorts on the boards for the most part trying to defend it. I don't find a lot of reasonable Glamberts out there. I'm sure there are some. Sorry if I come across as too harsh.

Cook tweeted the songwriters he was working with in London. The first name is familiar: Andrew Frampton (it's familiar right? *wink*). The other is downright scary: Savan Kotecha. He co-wrote one of Adam's songs (If I Had You), he wrote songs for X-factor people, especially Leona Lewis. Also? Il Divo.

It seems TPTB really want a pop hit for David. Um... I'm trusting David though, so I'll wait and see.

That's rotten behavior.

Oh, yeah, that's definitely rotten behavior, no doubt about it.
