Do not stress out, make them open their bags, if it is full om real money they get in, if it is anything else they stay in America and soon it will look like the home they are running away from. Now you know why you should have moved onto chess rather than staying with checkers.

It's not a crisis. If it was, Bono would be there.
You showed up, that was the first big clue. Just sayin, ....

I guess a crisis is in the eye of the beholder .
You spelled 'stockholder' wrong.

You will notice these migrants are all well dressed, they are the rich ones who are leaving their shithole countries, but the unfortunate part is these are the people that are most capable of helping their own sick and poor people in their country.
When the West takes these people in, it means they are leaving the less fortunate from their country even poorer and more disparate.

We really do a dis service to their country when we take in the more fortunate ones.

Which means they are not refugees and need to be sent back.

Yes but most will get to stay and get citizenship.

The way this game works is that it takes up to a yr or longer for a refugee to get their refugee status adjudicated.
They usually fail to get refugee status once they get heard.

But in the year or longer in waiting for the hearing, they will have one or two kids born as Canadian citizens (often called anchor Babies).

Once they fail refugee status, they apply for citizenship status on compassionate grounds claiming that sending them back to their country will present undue hardship for the Canadian babies.
Based on this, they almost always get Canadian citizenship.

And that's how they play the game, it's wildly known now thru out the refugees seeking population.

Unfortunately, the Canadian Supreme Court made a decision a few years ago that once someone sets foot on Canadian soil, we cannot arbitrarily send them back from where they came from so we're pretty much "hooped" in that regard.

It's always fascinating to watch a bigoted inept fool step all over himself to try and sound like he gives a fiddlers fook about migrants or the migrating country.

You don't give a crap about the less fortunate ones or whether the well dressed do a disservice to their country of origin.

So should we just open the doors to these gate crashers ? What about those that have applied through normal channels , should they be put on hold well we settle the gate crashers in hotel rooms ? Are you willing to pay more in taxes to cover the extra expenses these migrants are costing ? Am I a bigot ?

First and foremost, no, you're not a bigot. Durry is, and that is who I was addressing, and not just based on that post, but on his history of posting on this site. To his credit, he is unabashedly racist.

Migration is something we better get used to.

As to all your other questions, they will be processed and vetted and a lot of them will be deported. That is our only option in this. Every other option is the wrong option. The influx is a direct result of the U.S. Administrations xenophobic policies and their idiot leader. That was the one thing Durry got right. The Trump administration created this situation. Of course it didn't help when the Pander Bear gave big, "COME ON IN CANADA WELCOMES YOU." speech.

But I don't see us as having any choice but to help and process these people. Offer me another solution that doesn't include driving them back with batons and shields and I'm game.

This was Justin's fault. Justin invited them and tried to blame Trump.

If you want to talk about xenophobia, one need only to look at the Liberal Government sending Canadian officials to Miami, New Jersey, Los Angeles, etc. to tell Latino communities NOT to come to Canada. Then to send officials to Nigeria to tell their government to stop migrants from going Canada.

It was all fine to critique the US for being xenophobic until irregular migrants started entering Canada by the thousands.

Please. Do not try paint that orange melon head or his administration as innocent. I've at least given credit where credit is due, Justin, but you have about the most ****ed up government the U.S. has ever seen.

I am not. Trump is enforcing immigration laws. That is what Trudeau wants (well he does now). Justin said "Welcome to Canada" with the idea that it was business as usual, that migrants wouldn't come.

How so? Because the media says it is? Because you don't like Trump?
