You endorsed a poll that Loc posted earlier in this very thread.

Just sayin'
Question, mentalfloss. Is there any realistic chance any party will get a majority, or are two of the three biggies gonna have to go into coalition?

Surely does look that way to me, but maybe I'm missing something.

It's too soon for anything to look like anything. (Well, I'll be surprised if Jr. is anywhere above third) :)

Right now I would say that a minority Conservative government is likely, but if that happens, I have a feeling that the other two parties will cooperate with each other without calling it a coalition. They could take things piecemeal and just agree on certain legislation while disagreeing on others.

Yes anything can happen but if the Conservatives haven't broken out into the lead by next week then I'm not sure what else they would have to bolster their chances. We've exhausted the economic issue and that's their best card.

I was looking at the polls from the last election and the 'Orange wave' started about two weeks before the election.

Who knows... we may see one of these parties have the same break out period this time around if public exposure to this election is the same.

Of note: in Nanos 3-day rolling poll Conservatives are now leading in popular support (very slightly) and Harper as preferred PM (slightly).

and I guess this is why the cbc didn't report on shiny pony's terrible interview the other day.

Artists who need government subsidies generally suck. They suck hard. Otherwise, they would make it on their own.

That's what Harper would call a modest deficit.

Edit: That was for your earlier post.

For this one, lol Goldstein.

Whither the PM?

Globe & Mail headline:
Harper's decision not to participate in women's issues forum met with boos
Richard Lauder:
No, the ultra-partisan MC waved her hands & goaded and urged crowd to boo, after they sat silent. Watch video.
From the G&M report:
Comedian Jess Beaulieu joked that perhaps Harper would have participated if women bled oil every month.
Ms. Beaulieu on her website:
Hey! I'm Jess. I live in Toronto, Canada and I like the cunnilingus. I co-host the Crimson Wave, a podcast about periods.
You can run, Mr. Harper, but you can't hide.

'nuff said about these leftoids.

Let's see if JLM will dismiss this one.

Conservatives swing into lead, close in on majority government, new poll suggests

With less than a month to go in the campaign, and heading into the first of three leaders debates, the Tories have moved ahead of their rivals with the support of 35.4 per cent of voters, according to the Ekos poll conducted for Montreal’s La Presse newspaper.

Justin Trudeau and the Liberals have 26.3 per cent support and the NDP has the backing of 24.5 per cent of respondents. The poll questioned 2,343 people between Sept. 17 and Sept. 22 and is considered accurate to within two percentage points, 19 times out of 20.

The reason for the surge in the polls is Jr. and Mulehair have been acting like idiots of late. :) Both claim they are going to spend money they don't have. $15 a day child care................................................give me a break! Going to squander $millions jettisoning F-35s. No savvy those two!

But it's getting later and later and the trend is your friend.

You might be onto sumpin, Walter, but if you look way back I did predict Harper will win, but advance polls have f**k all to do with it. He's a bright boy, the other two are a wee bit slow! ;-)
