Stability?

You would need a communist government that actually knows what it's doing if you want stability.

Not necessarily. controlling debt and inflation could go a long way to promote stability, along with stricter environmental regulations and deregulating where regulation does nothing to help people.

Some things might need to be more regulated, while others could benefit from deregulation.

... I wonder if there's a correlation between those 55,000 jobs and the seasonal hires?

It's quite a mystery to be sure. I suppose that we'll never know

(PS - for the dim-witted, pretend I wrote this in purple)
I would just accept 55,000 full time, private sector jobs as a good sign and leave it at that. :)

Actually an operator makes (per month) as much as a Lawyer. With OT an operator can earn more than a foreman as they are on salary. What they don't do is give any new hires the news that they shopuld find something fulltime as seasonal is considered part-time employment. Guess who that benefits??

take your pills

The issue is that Flossy is pretending that a bunch of minimum wage summer jobs is magically indicative of a robust economy is what's laughable here JLM

We have to remember that quite a few jobs are only worth minimum wage. What should we pay for having a hot dog delivered from the kitchen to the dining area?

Flossy will defer to some fuzzy definition of living wage

I think you have kind of alluded to one of the main problems & misconceptions today. The person paying someone's wage shouldn't have to concern him/her self with having to cover the costs of how he/she decides they are going to live.

You shouldn't get anything for that.

Well it certainly shouldn't be more than the value of the hot dog. :) :)

Didn't work for the NDP in the 90s. All they did was ruin the economy.Course all they wanted to spend on was social programs and higher wages for government union employees. And their friends.

To grow an economy through borrow and spend doesn't take much skill. To fail to grow an economy through borrow and spend is shameful.

Which is why both of you fervently support Ontario Liberals for selling off Ontario Hydro to the private industry.

(we salaciously await your hypocrisy spin now)
