No. They've passed a 118 page Bill instead so no gov't shut down. Maybe Tec can explain but my understanding was if the gov't did shut down, the military & public service would still get paid but I honestly don't know if that's true 'cuz others are saying no one would get paid.
People honestly thought he's serious! Just can't take a joke!! Trump's sense of humor is rather dry & most people miss what he's saying.

Canadians don't watch Canadian media. Repeating the trolling comment over and over is making them money for once. Scrambling for crumbs.
As a Canadian watching US media I've noticed Americans are doing what they can to help push Trudeau out. There has been an uptick in US Trudeau bashing.
