Trade in lieu of cash payment, keeps currency in each partners own coffers. It won't up your cash in circulation.

How would practicing what I preach make the slightest bit of difference in todays Canada, our PM doesn't even listen to his own MPs, what are the chances he cares at all about people who don't directly support him?

We're having choices made for us that have significant consequences on a global scale, and the response to criticism and valid concerns from all quarters by the current government has been to entrench and conceal as much of what they're doing as they can. Even if Trudeau has much a much less clear idea of what he wants to do that could be a very good thing for this country if he's actually open to different options in a rapidly changing world.

Expect this nonsense to only get worse as time goes on. I'm hoping Canadians are going to see through the hysteria and ignore the character assassination attempts by the cons. It backfired on the republicans and one can only hope the same will happen here.

The ad shows the con's Know they just lost the goverment for the next 12 years.
You have to be really desperate to run attaque ad's like that.

Says two guys that believe the hidden agenda attack ads...

Man someone has been listening to way too much CBC.

Examples please. Real examples would help your case a great deal from real sources that are opinion based.

The only ones who can save Canada are Canadians. Might be difficult to do when the left/right rich/poor rifts growing wider every day.

What does that really mean Cliffy?.. Are wealthy Canadians not really Canadian? How about the far left on the political spectrum; are they not Canadians?

The political spectrum will always have divides, but from an economic standpoint, the reality is real clear - either the cupboards are full or they are not... Period.

You want gvt to expend money on (insert cause-du-jour; demands for welfare, social assistance, infrastructure, jobs, etc) and the bottom-line is that it is the private sector that does this... Kill the private sector and the gold-egg laying goose dies.

You're not a dumb man Cliffy, so offer something that resembles a solution and you'll go a lot farther than this pie-in-the-sky utopian dreams that have no basis in reality

I said I found it, there was no need to necro a 3-4 yr old thread.

Well it is a fun thread since it asks if Justin would revive the liberal party.

And here we are with a liberal majority. And with Justin as PM of all people.

You have to agree, I did score a hole in one on a par five on that prediction :) laugh out loud
