Why do Canadian's hate the USA so much... we would be nothing without them.

They are our biggest trading partner, and they make our economy.

agreed. I still don't want to go there. I'd love to see some of the actual land and many of the people, but I wouldnt feel safe going there. If Iran or Iraq or Pakistan or any number of places did something stupid (which could happen at any time) american soild would not be safe. I have a higher chance of staying alive in Canada

I see canada's high taxes as a "get-what-you-pay-for" kind of thing. Canada has an excellent quality of life. Plus you can have an appendectomy without stopping to find your wallet.

Would you believe I wasn't even thinking about taxes, but I'm guessing your income is higher and so are your taxes. Both my wife and I are retired and living comfortably thank you.
