By the way, in case anybody thinks this is new or unprecedented:

Uh..............that second one of Boehner might be a bit disingenuous Tec. Somehow I just see can't see a savvy politician like John breaking into tears over the election results.........most especially in public.

Your elections seem to set the bar for new and unprecedented, just when I think I've seen it all, darn if you don't go and surprise the **** out of me all over again.

So you are hitting the milk again! Shame on you, backslider, we thought you had stayed clean, all through this electioning stuff.

I decided to come out of the closet and admit to the world that yes.................yes I do drink milk. It soothes me through these troubled times. I can feel my bones strengthening as I sip. Milk Rocks.:lol:

Why Does John Boehner Cry So Much?
Beware of men who cry,” the writer Nora Ephron once cautioned. “It’s true that men who cry are sensitive to and in touch with feelings, but the only feelings they tend to be sensitive to and in touch with are their own.”

Boehner has gotten misty eyed during a tribute to golf legend Arnold Palmer, while listening to Irish music on St. Patrick’s Day and while singing “America the Beautiful,” among other occasions.

But perhaps the most famous—and one of the most telling—examples of Boehner’s crying came on Election Night in 2010, when Republicans reclaimed the House and Boehner knew he would replace Nancy Pelosi as speaker.

At a moment when he should have been emotionally high as a kite, Boehner was crying—and not tears of joy.

Looking pained and waving off cheers, Boehner managed to state, between sobs, “I’ve spent my whole life … [ sniff] … chasing … [ sniff, sniff] … the American dream … I put myself through school, working…”— [chokes up]— “every rotten job there was, and every night shift I could find. And I poured my heart and soul into running a small business [more tears].”

Finally, Boehner was able to blubber perhaps the most incongruous statement he could have made at that moment: “I am ready to lead.”

Donald Trump’s Tax Plan Could Tack $10 Trillion onto America’s Debt

How Would Trump's Tariffs Affect Your Wallet?

Now, I get that you simpletons actually think you know something so i'll just keep posting stuff that highlights what a bunch of cretins you are.

Justin Trudeau blushed when he looked at Trumps economic plan.
So you choose to post a bunch of left-wing think tank and Clinton supporters predictions from almost a year ago which were intended to swing the GOP primaries away from Trump. I'm sorry for you that you need to use such trash to support your insane position. Since my degree is in macro-economics I can tell you with great certainty it is all drivel and hogwash designed to support the liberal global free market with a single currency and united economy.

As soon as Trump closes the import market to low-quality, overpriced goods made off-shore the manufacturing sector will have no choice but to produce here and pay a decent wage. The economic spin-off and increased tax revenue from such a jump-start to industry combined with the immediate growth in excise will be so large as to probably turn the budget into a surplus situation within 2 years even if Trump was to continue the debacle of ACA and maintain all the wars on foreign soil.

He is poised to cut the budget by $150 billion/year just by repatriating the troops and another $25 billion by removing duplicity in government which also returns a lot of power to the states as the constitution intended. I'm sure he and his advisers will be come up with more as they get control of the purse and see exactly what is being wasted and where. After all Trump is a businessman and recognizes the need to get better value for money and that is what he will do pulling the country along whether the establishment wants it or not.

You go ahead and believe whatever the internet and MSM spoon-feed you though. They're also the ones who told you it would be a landslide win for Shillary.

Report: Three Million Votes in Presidential Election Cast by Illegal Aliens » Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

Illegal aliens cannot vote for a president in federal elections under 18 USC § 611 under threat of a one year penalty in prison.

Mind you the link you presented is from infowars, the same one others here condemned when it made conspiracy theory claims about 9/11.

Seriously? Boehner was FAMOUS for being weepy. It's second only to his Oompa Loompa spraytan as his distinguishing characteristic.

I heard on the radio where George Soros was meeting with Nancy Peloshi (sp?). The fear is that they are planning to reverse some of the electoral colleges' votes so that Hillary gets the 270 or whatever she needs to become President. In other words, they want to go against the majority who voted for Trump in order for her to get in. ]

Apparently, there is something in how this Electoral College is set up that allows their votes to be changed. The discussion that took place said that it was one (of many) issues that needed to be addressed.

I don't know why they even exist; the vote people make should be the final say.

Can anyone please "clue" us/me in?

Umm. . . Clinton had the majority of votes.

Do you want to know? I can tell you.

By the way, if it ran the way you say you want, Clinton would be President-Elect.

Right. Didn't see this before. Here's the short version.

The United States was formed as a union of sovereign states, kind of like the EU. The Constitution is shot though with references to state sovereignty and power. For example, the First Amendment starts out "Congress shall make no law. . ."

It was always intended that the president would be elected by the states, i.e. the state governments. There is no requirement in the Constitution that the states even hold presidential elections. Quite the contrary, the Constitution specifies that "Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors. . ."

No need for elections. New York had no presidential election until 1836. States appointed electors a handful of times in the 1800s. In 2000, the Republican-dominated legislature of Florida threatened to appoint electors if the recount picked Gore.

By the way, it used to be that the Senate was also appointed by the state legislatures. That was changed in 1913 by the Seventeenth Amendment.

Originally, only the House of Representatives was to be directly elected by the people. The rest of the Federal government was intended to be chosen by the states.

By the way, betcha Dix won't suddenly start saying that Clinton should be president now that she's aware Clinton got the most votes.

And that, kids, is the perfect example of "outcome determinative."
