The Klanbots haven't received their orders yet, but if they're wondering which side to stand on during the Alt-Right night of the long knives, it's with Trump.
Bannon thinks he built his movement with Trump as the figurehead, but in the White House he saw establishment forces push him out. There was never a thread about the Bannon/Kushner feud but this forum's clowns mysteriously started posting off-topic articles dragging Kushner at the time. Bannon lost the fight with Kushner and just like Benghazi after the 2016 election, no one cared about the Kushner smears anymore. When Bannon left the White House he thought he could take his movement back using Breitbart, but it won't work. The Klanbots may be saps but they are saps for Trump not Bannon. They will only believe positive stories about Trump. All negative stories are fake news even if there's no one there to tell them it is. And so if Bannon and Breitbart turn on Trump, they'll lose their audience.
The real question for people who aren't Trumpite suckers is who to believe? Obviously Bannon is sore from getting kicked out of the White House. Obviously as the editor of Breitbart and a Machiavellian neo-Nazi, he's not above lying and propaganda. What Bannon said lines up with stories that have come out in other leaks. That is either corroborating or meant to look that way as part of Bannon's effort to undermine Trump. But Trump's reaction is telling. Usually Trump goes on a Twitter rant and calls it fake, but this time (on top of that) he's actually suing Bannon and trying to stop the book's publication. The more something stings Trump, the harder he reacts.
