General and Specific relativity were developed by Einstein, and Quantum Mechanics were applied by Bohr and others in the early 20th Century. That's when they actually still condescended to hold their 'hypotheses' to experiment and proof.

Nothing. He's trying, in some convoluted manner, to try convincing us that the human species by massively expanding its population is a good thing for the planet. I think what he said was something like

There are NO LIMITS to growth.

That has been proven over and over. Thomas Malthus drew up the conceptual framework of the 'danger' of population in the 19th Century when he postulated that an arithmetic increase in food production would be unable to support a geometric increase in population.

It was used to rationalize some of the great holocausts of that century.. the lack of any remedies of the die offs of agricultural workers in India and the Carribean.. or of any governmental response to the Irish Potato Famine.. all seen as healthy reductions of excess and inferior populations.

It all fits into the massive frauds that have perpetuated themselves in the media and popular culture. Global Warming is the most prevalent lie, and easily disprovable for anyone with sense to look at the facts and the tawdry 'science' behind the theory.

But it all stems from an Atheological Pagan Postulate, of the evil nature of human 'infection' of pristine Mother Earth. It will produce nothing but chaos. Nothing will be more damaging to the biosphere than a collapse of the human population.

So far. If string HYPOTHESIS turns out to be a reality, I have no doubts someone will find a practical use for its effects. After all if one gave a magnifying lens to a homo erectus, the guy would probably sharpen an edge and use it as a cutting instrument after playing with it by looking at things through. Perhaps one day the guy might notice the heat on his hand if he was in an appropriate position in relation to the sun.
The theory of relativity brought about an explanation for parallax besides Einstein's main intent. To suggest that string HYPOTHESIS will have nothing worthwhile to contribute is extremely short-sighted and presumptuous.

At any rate, it just comes to a logical conclusion that the more people there are, the less other species there will be, unless somehow or other we can synthesize more elements, molecules, etc. out of basically nothing. The mass of the planet is simply the mass of the planet. It is quite constant and the only change is the dust it collects from space and the odd meteorite or something. More of one thing means less of another.

Why are you arguing about this in this thread? If you started a thread on it, the issue would go nowhere. String theory does not have the prominence in science that you give it.

Moreover, it has absolutely nothing to do with this topic. You just come off as having an axe to grind.
