OTTAWA—Former Conservative cabinet minister Bev Oda reimbursed taxpayers for inappropriate travel and hospitality expenses incurred on five separate occasions following revelations of her lavish spending while attending an international immunization conference in London last year.
“The former minister’s expenses were re-examined and all inappropriate expenses were repaid,” Stephanie Rea, now director of communications for the newly appointed International Co-operation Minister Julian Fantino wrote in an email on Tuesday.
