You can always tell the flat Landers without even looking at their license plate because they have to stop and inspect the road at every corner.

You really should get off that island more, Kreskin. :p:smile:

Speak for yourself, Twila. I am neither entitled nor stupid. Feel free to include yourself, of course.

There you go ... B.C. drivers ... road raging each other when they're off the road!

It was posted earlier that BC drivers are both stupid and entitled. And since it was posted on the internet it must be true

I wouldn't include you or me in that, but someone said it's true about ALL BC drivers so...

Sorry they included you in that. Not my personal view being a BC driver who's never been pulled over or been in a car accident while driving, but what do I know?

I do believe she was being sarcastic.

I was, but I forgot to use purple so it's not as easily read.

Soooo, none of you have driven in Quebec or New Brunswick ?

So many roads in Montreal are one-way and parking space is so scarce, sometimes it's better just to leave the car at home, especially given its developed public transit system.

I can't speak for the rest of Quebec or New Brunswick though.

I've only ever driven in BC. I have been a passenger in Alberta, Amsterdam, Paris (France), Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada and New Zealand.

Amsterdam was the most terrified I've ever been in a vehicle. We video'd it because the taxi driver was amazingly good, but terrifyingly fast given the amount of pedestrians on foot and on bikes.

I do believe she was being sarcastic.

If that is the case, then I owe her an apology, Cliffy. Coming as it did with the other thoughtless comments about ALL BC drivers, I figured it was just another ill conceived comment.

Yep, I've generally found that Twila knows what of she speaks - some thought goes into her posts.

I lived happily for a decade in NDG without a car. Transit is good. Heck, I used to board the bus at Berri, head north for nine hours and get let off 100 yards from a rented canoe at Camp Dorval La Verendrye and straight into the bush for a week or two ( think Algonquin Park with no one else around)... or board another bus, head south and get off by an Adrondack Mountain Club trail and straight up 5000 feet Mt.Marcy).
