From what I understand in British Columbia, opening up out buildings for human habitation may not be an option. Even to occupy a brand new house built specifically for human occupancy, "red tape" requires you to get an occupancy permit. It may be slightly more difficult to acquire one for a shed.

Don't worry Grumpy's buildings are all up to snuff as he employees TFA's every year .

I'll say this one more time for the terminally stupid, like Jinentonix. The refugees do NOT get "better" medical than the rest of us. They are covered by the basic medical provided by what ever province they live in. Look it up, or if you are too stupid to figure out how to do that, have someone do it for you.

and one more thing, if my 25 yr old, (and yes, I have one, 2nd youngest) had a medical problem that his medical did not cover and he could not afford to take care of it himself, my wife and I would mortgage/lien our lives to take care of it if necessary.


Pisses me off no end when people whine about how "others" won't do anything when it appears that they, themselves, aren't willing to put themselves out to take care of it.
