Ocean Breeze and Morghabi really need to reconsider their accusation that 9/11 was an American conspiracy.

That sounds alot like the Holocaust was some zionist propaganda to elicit mercy for the Jew.

But...alas...I am discovering who the reasonable ones are, and it happens to be Peapod, Reverend Blair, Vanni (all three of whom I disagree with a lot but who actually have a brain and a sense of humor), ITN, Eaglesmack, Toro, Walrus.

sorry??????? Who is making "accusations"???? Who is talking "conspiratory " theories???

seems this is the standard response to anyone that poses the hard questions. No problem. If people want to "believe" what the US gov't tells them as the gospel truth.........so be it.

most of the world chooses NOT TO.....and with good reason.

gotta admit, the US population is a very "sensitive" and "defensive " lot these days.... and simply cannot /choose not to deal with some real issues that are transparent to most .

just because Americans have lost the right to question their gov't.........does not mean this applies to the rest of the world.

.........the fact that some REFUSE to consider all possibilites blinds them to many truths that might be staring them in the face.

Maybe the biggest difference between the US mindSET and the rest of the world is that the US are easily persuaded by their own propaganda.----while the rest of the world is not afraid to question....(unless of course they live in a nation that "discourages" thinking .

The only question posed here was:IS it possible??? .....and we get some flip X-files fantasy world response. (too many movies perhaps and not enough real substance???)

Which hard questions may those be exactly? That Flight 77 wasn't hijacked? That a remote controlled drone hit the Pentagon? That Muslims were not on board? THOSE are the hard questions?

What is transparent to most feeds their pre-conceptions of reality. They can't make the break to see beyond those pre-conceptions. They are stuck in anything that defies logic and reason. Have you ever heard me say anything to you when you slam the current US(G)? No. Because I agree with most of what you say.

But most cannot can't draw a line between the US(G) and US citizens. It feeds their pre-conceptions. You sit nice and comfy behind your monitor and you think we're some sort of robots down here. What makes you think you're any better? Superiority Complex?

Okay Ocean Breeze, okay.

Your skepticism should be consistent, even if it causes you to doubt what you quickly embrace.

If Americans are easily persuaded by their own propaganda then how did almost 1/2 of them vote against Bush ?

And even the other 1/2 ain't all that happy, and that would include me.

You paint with a broad brush and then you splatter all over the place. Clean it up a little? It's sloppy to rush all over the place.

You're rush to judgement is no better than those you accuse.

absolutely agree. Personally , I try to differentiate the two when I post here.......but not always successful. as such generalizations are counterproductive.

it is a good point. .........and human nature being what it is.....the tendancy to "generalize " is there. This is neither right/accurate or effective.

You know it's not good for humanity if not just America is insane but also the whole world at the same time.

Whatever sin started first, the pendulum of over-reaction is probably the only perpetual motion machine we will ever see.
