The same strikes me as true about 'religious wars'. The real motivator isn't religion, it's control of people and resources, with religion as a veil. Remove religion, and the wars are still waged.

They were around. They just werent too loud about it because if they were in most places they would have been tortured and murdered. Just like homosexuality was around but quiet.

We don't have to prove there isn't a good. You can't prove a negative. I am perfectly willing to change my position and believe in a god if good evidence is presented. Just like I would change my position on the existence of unicorns if someone presented some proof. Would you consider your lack of belief in the existence of unicorns to be a part of your religion? Assuming of course that you don't believe unicorns exist. It is possible that you do.

Do we know there is no god? No. Even the die hards like Hitchens and Dawkins have said that many times. Its not hard to go find the many videos of them saying this or to look at their books. We just have not seen any evidence to suggest that a god does exist.
