LMAO. This site is weird. There was nothing "hateful" about what I typed. It simply criticized on a political level. I am being attacked more on this Canadian site for criticisms of America than I did on most US sites. I wonder if the US right is trying to take over and muzzle this site the way it does so many in the US? My "hatred", as you call it, of US extremism and militarism is well justified. Care to address the issue instead of making a personal attack? Doing so would be very un-American, so maybe that is beyond you?

Interesting post in that it reminds me of how so many right wingers and wannabes used to attack OceanBreeze when she used to post here. She was repeatedly called "America hater" because she criticized American warmongering even though much of her family is American and she spent more than half of her vacation time and money here. These right wingers love it when the USA engages in war. But many if not most of them have never been in the military. Very easy to endorse a war when they don't have to fight it or pay for it, especially when they profit from such a war.

For me as a patriotic American, voting Republican is the closest thing to treason. On more than enough occasions I have posted links which prove that it is Republican Wall Street that financed Hitler and the Soviet Iron Curtain. And, to prove a point, I have always used conservative sources to prove my point. Indeed, contrary to what the right wing delusionals would have you or anyone else believe, it is the right wingers who have caused every problem we see in society today. From war, terrorism, welfarism, pollution, racism, economic disparities - all caused by the Republicans. Sadly, there are a few DINOs who support them in their unAmerican efforts. Hopefully, they will all get their asses kicked out of office. Those who love the USA will gladly endorse this idea.

Thanx for making my point, Eagle.

The great irony here being that right wingers always call for having an armed citizenry as a check against government abuse. Yet they also call for having the largest and most powerfully armed military in the world which is a part of and controlled by the government. This is hypocrisy of the worse kind.

They also call for the absolute bare bones of government. The only government they want is military yet they also cry for “liberty and freedom”.

If right wingers were so principled by demanding 2d Amendment rights because our Founding Fathers created it (which, of course they did and which I affirm) then they should be equally adamant about not having a standing army just like the Founders demanded. When anyone says that the Pentagon and military industrial complex should be dissolved (again, in a manner consistent with the teachings of the Founders) the lunatic right wingers go ape sh1t.

So much for the consistency of r/w logic.

But, as always, there is nothing of principle in right wingers. Case in point: Katrina as we have discussed innumerable times on this forum. When the SHTF, the right wingers came on bended knee to the government and got bailed out. And it will happen again soon enough ...

The r/w has a guiding principle that is inherent in all that they do. “Me first” and greed underlie everything. The amazing thing is how stupid they are in not following their logic through. All of these r/w businessmen who own body shops, gun stores and whatever act as though once they get rid of progressive thought their r/w bosses will let them stay well off. Nobody seems to remember dubya bragging to a room full of wealthy Texas businessmen that they were his constituency. The blessing about dubya was that he was so stupid and said so many stupid things. The r/w elite works hard to bury it all and is quite successful.

Via LiveLeak:

One week after Aaron Alexis shot and killed 12
people at the Washington Navy Yard, video has emerged of him stalking
around the premises toting a shotgun and pointing the firearm into
various offices.

Throughout the rampage, Alexis reportedly used a stolen Beretta 9mm
semiautomatic pistol and a sawed-off Remington 870 Express 12-gauge
shotgun (seen below in the closed-circuit video).

No shots are fired in the surveillance video released to the public,
but you can get a glimpse of the chaos as throngs of people attempt to
flee the building just down the hall from where Alexis hides in an
office door alcove.

Alexis was killed by police an hour into the shooting spree.

I know that would make you jealous but just in case you didn't know, OceanBreeze is happily married.

No surprise than no professing ''principled" CONservative here calls for the dissolution of the Pentagon and military industrial complex the way a TRUE believer in Our Founding Fathers believes.

Mass shootings are a small price to pay for the freedom to carry out mass shootings.

"Our Founding Fathers"? This site is Canadian. Canada's founders are not referred to as "Founding Fathers" and we hold them in no greater reverence than we hold any other politicians.

"Our Founding Fathers?" This is a Canadian site. We don't call our founders "Founding Fathers". Nor do we worship our founders more than we worship any politician - which is to say not at all.

Sorry Old Trout, but the site is called "Canadian Content" and Canada has no "Founding Fathers". As well site rules state that Canadian law applies here. And even if the site wasn't Canadian, it certainly isn't American. You probably won't gettit, but tacky Republican references to "Our Founding Fathers" are inappropriate outside the US. Nobody cares. That is why Yanks were generally hated long before dubya.

Continue being rude if you wish. We cannot stop you. But we can comment, and draw the attention of visitors to your rudeness. Go ahead boy, do your nation proud.

You thought that a reference to the Pentagon, in a thread about the Washington Navy Yard, was about Canada?

As to rudeness, yep.
You complain about it but are the first to practice it.
As to Canadian Laws apply, server is in the US. Try executing a warrant there Bucky.

So tell me, what does your perpetual, incessant screeching about America, which we probably couldn't stop at gunpoint, have to do with Canadian Content? Your continual clatter about Vietnam, in which Canada was not involved? Your interminable battering on about Iraq, in which Canada was not involved? What Canadian Content is there in your unceasing droning shrieking on and on and on and on and on. . . ?

You've never heard of executing a warrant or summons, criminal or civil, from Canada to the US? The US federal and state courts will honor them. There are statutes every lawyer knows about and that work just fine. Y'all're showing your ignorance.

You just don't gettit that you are the one being rude, do y'all? This is Canada. We do not have "Founding Fathers". When you refer to "Our" Founding Fathers you are being rude. If I post on a US site I don't refer to "Our Charter of Rights and Freedoms" because y'all don't have one. It would be rude.

Why can't you just say sorry and move on? Typical Yank arrogance?
