I never said it wasn't a false sense of security, lol. But we do like to comfort ourselves by playing those "what are the odds" games. I just find when something happens that brazenly blows that all to hell, it's all the more unsettling.

I can hear the difference, even when friends or family say certain words.. the pronunciation of vowels are extremely different, the is an emphases on vowels from a southerner.
Back to the shooting, I want to know a couple of things about this shooting..
1. Why did the shooter pick this particular movie, what's the correlation between the horrific act and The Dark Knight Rises?? If any?
2. Anyone think that the film producers of the The Dark Knight Rises will donate some of the proceeds to the victims of this shooting?
3. I wonder if this Denver shooting will hurt turn out, or will it make the movie more popular.. as people again want to see if there is or was a correlation?? The villain is wearing some sorta gas mask in the movie??
I fell sorry for the family of this nut bar, and my heart goes out to the victims and their families.. you are suppose to out live your child, not the other way around.

The kid was 24 and already Graduated from University of Riverside (California) in 2010, now he is at another University in Denver going for his PHD.

Not all smart people are nuts but a lot of crazy people are smart. There is no underlying force unless this was another case where he was identified as nuts and not locked up in the loony bin in order to protect his rights.

This is the big story on the conspiracy channels. Obama is putting up a bill on gun control for vote in two weeks. The clincher for them is that columbine happened in the same time frame with relation to similar bill being voted on and was just across town. Maybe there is some psychotronics going on there. Denver is a hot spot for the theorists anyway.
Some are saying he was dressed as Bane the bad guy in the movie. He had the gas mask for the tear gas.
Interesting fact that there was a trailer played at the start of the film showing a movie theatre being shot up from behind the screen at the end of it. The shooter entered the theatre, 15 minutes into the movie. Entering through the emergency exit at the bottom and he started shooting after setting off the tear gas. A lot said they thought it was a promotional stunt because of the trailer.

The shooter purchased a ticket, was part of the audience and at the end, left through the fire escape, propping it open while he went to his car.. then he returned..
His hair was also painted red like the Joker.. no joke.
