I can understand that. When you get headaches, they must be huge ones. When I bought my b'bq many years ago, I simply paid Canadian Tire 25$ to assemble it for me. They delivered it all assembled, ready to use. In my opinion, the extra money was well worth it, to avoid all the headache of putting it together.

... and sometimes help from another pair of hands.I've assembled a lot of bbqs over the years with no problems. All you need are the instructions and a bit of common sense.

Actually on closer inspection, it isn't a Hemi. Same color though. Hemis don't have spark plugs in the regular places in the heads..
Yeah, that was my second guess upon a closer inspection.Best I can Tell from the picture it is a small block Chev.
Whatever it is, its a cool bbq!Yeah, that was my second guess upon a closer inspection.
Custom one. The stock ones weren't that color.Hemi Engine

I asked about it, but the guy said they didn't offer that service. I would have paid double that at least.

The 426 came with different configurations. One has a single 4 bbl carb, another was the cross ram, another was the 2 x 4bbl inline.
Crossram with carbs on it
Sounds more like laziness to me....Perhaps, but I can't be bothered. I would much rather pay somebody else to do it. I have many talents, but putting things together isn't one of them.
I'm not surprised. I think the 300 back then weighed like 2 tons and Javelins were lighter by a fair bit. Not sure about HP and torque comparisons. Final drive also is a factor.Never ran into that config. Neat! I've had inline Holleys. My brother had a 62 Chrysler 300 with 413 and a crossram that bled from one quarter of the boilerhouse to the other.
My Javelin kicked its ass!
