A Hemi! YAY Dodge!! lol

Actually on closer inspection, it isn't a Hemi. Same color though. Hemis don't have spark plugs in the regular places in the heads..

I've assembled a lot of bbqs over the years with no problems. All you need are the instructions and a bit of common sense.

Did you say you bought it from Canadian Tire? That is surprising, I bough mine from Canadian Tire as well. Unless they have stopped assembling it these days. I bought mine more than ten years ago, and at that time there was no problem.

Perhaps, but I can't be bothered. I would much rather pay somebody else to do it. I have many talents, but putting things together isn't one of them.

The 426 came with different configurations. One has a single 4 bbl carb, another was the cross ram, another was the 2 x 4bbl inline.

Never ran into that config. Neat! I've had inline Holleys. My brother had a 62 Chrysler 300 with 413 and a crossram that bled from one quarter of the boilerhouse to the other.


My Javelin kicked its ass!

I'm not surprised. I think the 300 back then weighed like 2 tons and Javelins were lighter by a fair bit. Not sure about HP and torque comparisons. Final drive also is a factor.
The crossram improved fuel delivery by quite a bit.

I find that the assembly instructions are fairly simple, but usually I make two mistakes along the way, from not following the instructions properly.
