Thanx...The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is the part of the government responsible for enforcing immigration laws.
Thus proving S.B. 1070, is not preempted by Federal statute.ICE Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of State and Local Coordination....
ICEOSLC is responsible for building and improving relationships, and coordinating activities with state, local, territorial, and tribal law enforcement agencies. It also fosters and sustains relationships with federal, state and local government officials; and coordinates and manages daily 287(g) Program operations as a component of services offered under ICE Agreements of Cooperation in Communities to Enhance Safety and Security (ACCESS).
Thus proving it's a violation, my point all along...If ICE determines that a person has violated immigration law, it will initiate deportation proceedings.
