Are Politics always left-leaning in social media?

I just got a voting reminder website sent to me and there were a lot of NDP votes even though it was claiming to be Non-partisan. I feel like I've seen a lot of left wing social media sites and apps for this election. What's everyone's take on encouraging voters through social media. Is it just a left-wing thing??

If you don't know what I'm talking about ... I mean things like CBC compass and this If I Could Like My PM site that are supposed to be encouraging voting but seem to be skewed either with wording or votes etc....maybe i'm cynical

Skeptical rather than cynical I would say.
Usually there is a skew toward the opposite poll of the current government. Often it's not that much but in this particular case, the Conservatives have alienated the media to a much greater extent than other governments before.
So there is bound to be a reaction. That along with more and more people are becoming adept at using social media networks and producing some what polished presentations expressing their view point, the combination of it all would give that appearance.

Welcome to the world of politics. ;-)

The CBC thing told me I was most likely a Green after that I paid it no more attention.
I could do a few things and have made some tough decisions over the years but I
would never become desperate enough to vote Green.

Thanks for the welcome! I think Skeptical is probably a better term for my hesitation. I'm undecided about my vote but I really don't like that the Conservatives have been so closed off to the media. That and I don't like that Canada's foreign aid is frozen :S

Either way thanks for the feedback!

If reporting stays objective while control of authority gets taken over more and more by right, then yes, of course authorities will state that reporting is "left".

It's a question of True Moderate versus Relative Moderate.

The way to tell the difference is whether or not they think their lives will be better off if everyone is well off (i.e. you can walk down a street without being mugged because nobody has any reason to) versus those saying that the only way to be safe is to have enough money to defend ones-self against those who will attack and eat like you would if you could.

Look at how many "likes" there is for Jack Layton on the "If I Could Like My PM" site!

186 for Jack
16 for Mr. Harper
18 for Iggy
12 for May
3 for Duceppe

That's a huge lead for Jack!

Either that's skewed, or we're in for a NDP majority as soon as the kids reach majority age.

You f-cking tinkle-berrys don't know the difference between socialism and Bolshevism.

You have also never lived under corporate tyranny...

Oh maybe you have... when the corporations were forbidden to fire anyone unless the Nazi party of Germany allowed the corporation to do that.

OK... so Steven Harper will not be a Nazi to stop corporations from firing people the corporation does not like.

He will be a classic dumb Albertan to think when he cannot figure anything out then what he cannot figure out must lead to natureal selection.

He will think that when he cannot figure anything out, the solution is to remove, and let natureal selection take over, when natural selection had already figured out since the last great recession what to do.

This is obviously a grand failure of education.

Canada has failed at education.

You guys have never read immigration documents from the early 1900's.

They said you cannot get into Canada unless you can think. They knew they had they land, but in the early 1900's you could not get into Canada unless you could think.

Harper is Revolting against that. Like how he loved rev9oting against his high-school council he feels joy ****ing up wherever he goes because he has never been truly loved.

How would Lucifer accommodate Harper?

How would God accommodate Harper?

**** Lucifer I know what to do with him. He needs his own planet.
