This native BCer thinks anyone from the other side of the Rockies are foreigners. Abers not so much foreign and although they "talk really funny over there" in Newfieland, they're ok, too. But the folks in between are really oddly foreign. You are trying to be funny right?8O Most of our transplants are from Manitoba and that's still the West. We do get some from Ontario alright. Lots from Britain too.
My job, back in the early seventies, found me relocated in Fernie, B.C.
And yes, the folks there were definitely mean.
Hope it is different now, after 30+ years.
Yeah, the question definitely was 'simple'.
That's absolutely right, and it's just common sense to know that, doesn't
matter where you are.
Nah....We are only nasty and mean to people from the east. Once you've been here for two or three years you become a BCer and you can be mean to them as well.
I've been a BCer for 70 years, and it's been that long that I've been mean to
anyone who comes across our border, since 1938, be careful.;-)
Now I'm going out to my 'f*****g
garden, and if anybody doesn't like it, too bad. See you all later, if you're lucky.![]()
BC'ers are only mean if they find out you're from Alberta... then the jealousy kicks in![]()
Just did 'fish fertilizing' now I need a shower.;-)With the exception of one year (in Calgary) I've been here since '43, I may get out to my garden later, had quite a lot of rain overnight and it's pretty mucky out there. Watch your thumbs don't turn green Talloola.
Why would one want to fertilize fish? Does Miracle Grow work on them?
