Then I guess it's a damn good thing that I lived in the Lowermainland from 1968 to the summer of 2001 then eh. All my kids were born there, and my wife was born there. I left when it became painfully obvious that the brain dead electorate of BC was going to give Campbell and his band of crooks the keys to everyones wallets.

Without your play on words it was fast cat ferries, which refer to the high speed catamaran ferries that the BC government spent way too much money on.

I remeber them. I was just ensuring that is what he was on to. Didn't they hit a dead head or something and injuries then ridership fell or was it just too damn expensive. $28 or some damn thing while foot service was still $5.50 on the regular ferry?

There were a few problems.

Our waters aren't the cleanest. Dead heads and debris. I believe it was on the maiden voyage, or one of the early runs the turbines sucked in some debris and shut the engines down. Cost an arm and a leg to fix em. There was concern. considering the speeds they could attain, that the cat hulls could be breached by an errant dead head.

Yeah, he's been a disappointment, certainly not the calibre of man Klein is and he wasn't above drinking beer with the wage slaves.
