Well, I think I would put her name on the long list of candidates.
She would certainly be controversial, has lots of opinions??
She would probably attract a lot of viewers, viewers is what makes money, you can always compromise your principles a little bit to make money,,eh??
Dude, I know people that would sell out their supposed principles for amusement.

That would probably work. Given the folks I know that would be into Sun TV, stimulating discussion generally isn't their thing.

Well, I think Canadians are always open to hear another point of view, this would provide that opportunity.

Hahah, I guess Canadians are open to change and experiments.

...and it wasn't there before?

In my area the right is well represented in media.

The Sun
The National Post
CFRB...radio
AM 640...radio
Gloabl tv...peter Kent was an anchor.

The Globe is middel ground.

The Star is a Liberal paper.

CBC is a little left....and it shouldn't be.

CTV is fair and middle ground.

Sun tv......right wing propoganda machine.

Nothing to the extreme left save Now magazine.

Yet the right always complain about liberal bias in the media.

It's a talking point without merit.

No, most news medias that are produced in central Canada is almost automatically left of centre. You gotta live in the west to see it tho.

Global tv, is left of centre
CTv is also left of centre
The G&M is further left of centre than the two above, you could say Liberal !!
CBC is purly Liberal, all the way thru, even their underwear is probably red with the L sign !!

That excludes Coulter.

I hope you said that in jest, CDNBear.

Ann Coulter is attacked and despised because of her biting, acerbic wit, which the stuck-on-stupid, humourless left wingers could never hope to match without profuse use of vulgar profanity and ad hominem, personal attacks.

I never watch TV in real time. I use my DVR and watch recorded programs at my leisure, skipping all the annoying and time-wasting commercials.

I now include SunTV in my DVR recording schedule.

You mean you're skipping through those absolutely interesting commercials by that oriental insoles salesman....???

I wouldn't generalize. I think many people are not open to other points of view.

Actually, yeah. Shouldn't it?

Not really...unless you have preconceived ideas as to who watches this stuff.

I hope you said that in jest, CDNBear.

No, I think she's attacked because she's an idiot.

Yeah your right. I should be more specific, like this;

People Manitoba and west are open to many points of view!!

As somebody that has lived all over Canada, I can't begin to tell you how amusing your comment was. Try spending a weekend in Kweebeck City

Cannuck said about best-selling author and highly sought-after TV guest Ann Coulter:

"No, I think she's attacked because she's an idiot."

Cannuck, I am sure I will not be the first one to tell you this, although the words maybe different:

"CHECK YOURSELF, BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELF!"

Looking in the mirror would also be a tremendous help for you, in case you have a modicum of modesty.

You want Sun TV to have a cutting edge female commentator who has the brain to back up the words. Try Diane Francis. There would have to be some peace making considering she's with the National Post., but who better to cut the wheat from the chaff.
