I guess I don't see what Anonymous can really do either, unless they can electronically steal all the money the cartel has... then they're just another brand of thief... oh wait... they already are thieves and vandals.

I guess if bad people want to screw each other over and some good comes out of it, then cool, but really who cares? Its not as if another cartel wouldn't rise in any vacuum created by the Zetas being taken down. Its not going to bring back the people they've killed. Its not going to stop illegal drugs from coming into our countries and wreaking their havoc on our society.

Not really.

Their attack on the CoS, was about the freedom of the net, and free speech.

although the latter seems a tad disingenuous, considering they want to attack Fox News as well.

latter seems a tad disingenuous, considering they want to attack Fox News as well""" Surely you jest 8O But, then again, Fox provides baseball in the summer and great unbiased news reporting..................

The situation reminds me of the terrible goings on when one drug gang wars with another, and druggie after druggie, criminal after criminal gets killed..............so very sad

Anonymous retreats from Mexico drug cartel confrontation | Technology | guardian.co.uk

The apparent climbdown by the group came as one security company, Stratfor, claimed that the cartel was hiring its own security experts to track the hackers down – which could have resulted in "abduction, injury and death" for anyone it traced.

I knew it.

And the Cartel certainly has the funds to track down the hackers and following the law is not part of their business plan.
