Muslims call their head dress differently, but they are still similar head coverings. Shemagh or keffiyeh for men and haqib for women. They also wear little beanies like the Jews wear called taqiyah.

They call it differently because it is different. You, at least, are intelligent enough to know the difference. Which, really, is not surprising to me.

You are not surprising. Judging someone's intelligence by their knowledge of foreign cultures. For the record, Sikhs and Muslims on average, have no respect for our culture, so I don't see the need to extend the courtesy back to them, like a boot-licking buffoon.

But you can volunteer for the job.

ROFLMAO......

Thank you for proving my point as to your lack of intelligence. You can't seem to keep your stories straight at all.

I'm also not a Christian. I'm an atheist agnostic. I don't believe in any religion. I think they are all insane, and keep back progress.
I don't think I've ever met an atheist who was also an agnostic. It seems contradictory to me.

If Arabs didn't massively embrace Islam, the Middle East might actually be one of the world's best places. They have the resources, they have the people, but they are kept stupid by Islam.
All Muslims are Arabs now?

And I know lots of Persians and Arabs who hate Islam that have moved to Canada. Islam is a poisonous cult that is destroying much of the world.
Oh? Like what areas? A few spots in Afghanistan? A couple blocks in New York?

Hindus are getting attacked by Muslims, Christians are, Buddhists are, and of course secularists like myself are.
And there are no bad Christians, Hindus, or secularists. I see.

Muslims are attacking everywhere. They don't have many friends.

What? I said Sikhs don't bother me as much as Muslims, because Muslims are the ones that kill you for disbelieving, Sikhs don't.

I still don't care if Sikhs are offended, but I didn't mean to offend them when I attacked Muslims.

But now, thinking about it, Sikhs aren't great people either, and I have little respect for any religion. So don't think I'm biased.

I just see Sikhs as being less a problem then Muslims, but both are a problem, as are all religions.

Atheist: Lack of belief in God(s).
Agnostic: Possesses no knowledge of God(s).

Not contradictory at all. In fact you have to be either an atheist agnostic or a theist agnostic. You can't just be an agnostic and be undecided. At least not in my opinion you can't. Maybe you can explain to me how you can both NOT not believe in God(s), but also not believe in God(s). Now my head hurts.

All Muslims are Arabs now?

No. There are more South Asian Muslims then Arab Muslims. But most Muslims in Calgary are Arab. I can't tell the difference between Sikh or Muslim on the streets obviously, just like I can't tell the difference between a Catholic or Protestant, unless the Catholic has one of those Crucifix with Jesus on it, Protestants typically have just the cross, no dead man attached.

Oh? Like what areas? A few spots in Afghanistan? A couple blocks in New York?

Ever heard of the Pakistan/India conflicts? Or Sri Lanka Tamil Tigers? What about in Western China, the conflicts Muslims have started there? Or in Croatia/Serbia? Israel/Palestine I can go on.

And there are no bad Christians, Hindus, or secularists. I see.

Run! Head for the bunker!

There are. But Christian countries don't stone you to death for disbelieving or mocking Christianity. Neither do Hindus, or secularists.

When was the last time an atheist killed someone for mocking him over being an atheist?

Exactly.

What culture? I know a lot of Canucks who can't figure out what Canadian culture is. Land stealing, aboriginal children beating/abusing, polluting, Big Mac eating, beer drinking, etc. ?

Are you honestly saying that Aboriginals have no culture? That the French and English have no culture?

Our true culture is a combination of Aboriginal, French, and English cultures. In that order.

Yet the dominate language is English, obviously, with French following, and then Chinese (it seems, seeing Hongcouver's population explosion).

We got things like maple syrup, hockey, pow wows, BC bud, Alberta beef, Trailer Park Boys, some freedom, and more.

No, she saying that many Canadians have no idea that these groups have a culture, let alone the fact that Canada itself has a culture.

This stems from a woeful educational system, that fails to make Canadian history a prodominant course in our schools.

Agreed.

But to be specific, the RCMP is a part of our culture. And I remember awhile ago a Sikh joined and bitched because he couldn't wear his precious turban. He later quit after a few months. That is disrespect.

As far as I'm concerned every person on the planet is an agnostic. Nobody "knows" until he reaches the "other side". HOwever that doesn't preclude anyone from being an Atheist. That just means they are sketical as well as ignorant. LOL

Yeah and imagine what would happen if a Canadian went to Pakistan and complained about their culture, while trying to join their police force, and saying he wouldn't join unless he could wear a cowboy hat or whatever.

He'd be shot or imprisoned at least. It is a huge double standard, and some just don't get it.

One thing for sure by the looks of this thread, Ann Coulter has accomplished what she set out to do. Two days ago I never had an inkling who the woman is.

Atheist: Lack of belief in God(s).
I know that one. I married one.
Agnostic: Possesses no knowledge of God(s).
That is debatable. There seems to be many definitions of agnostic. I am one, but my brand is that gods are indifferent to us so there's no point in paying them any attention even if they do exist. We don't know a lot of stuff exists but that does not mean it doesn't. A while back we didn't know monopoles existed. But we found they do. Eventually we may find a god. lol

Some agnostics believe in gods but think there's no way we can know what they are like. That is why I said agnostic and atheist seem contradictory.

Ever heard of the Pakistan/India conflicts? Or Sri Lanka Tamil Tigers? What about in Western China, the conflicts Muslims have started there? Or in Croatia/Serbia? Israel/Palestine I can go on.
Yeah, Christians went to Iraq and caused a ruckus there. Bhuddists have caused the odd ruckus, too.

The Bible says that gays should be stoned. Most Christians don't stone gays, though. Just like most Muslims don't kill others.

When was the last time an atheist killed someone for mocking him over being an atheist?[/quote]I don't know. But I won't stick my face out and declare there never was one. And even if there was, I still wouldn't brand all atheists the same.

No, Anna used the wrong word, she should have used IS as he stated that he is an Athiest agnostic.
But I have never met another one that was. If I was talking about him I would have said, "is".
