Once again, avoidance and deflection from the issue raised with some derogatory remarks thrown in to attemp to discredit anyone who asks the right questions.

Please answer the question. Are you willing to have those involved in the misdeeds Manning brought to light held accountable just as he is being held accountable for his misdeeds?

Could we have a small listing of crimes committed - Small as in no more than 10 should be sufficient to make your point.

Please include the links to Wiki and ref page numbers that clearly describe the atrocities.
Misdeeds are not to be included as it is to wide ranging in its definition.

Atrocities - Murders - sanctioned by Govt - Collateral damage is a fact of War, and it is more frequent with an insurgency /guerrilla warfare. That is why many soldiers hate war. Believe it or not. They realize what shxt happens. And it is not pretty.

One point to consider - Why are so many people calling on the US to enforce a no fly zone in Libya - That would entail aerial attacks against all air bases - missile defense etc - then it would escalate to taking out their mechanized regiments - then it would escalate to providing safe zones for refugees - then it would also become an insurgency - then we would be talking about atrocities again. Would we not?

Quoting my own post was simply to show the different time stamp but please feel free to interpret it to whatever suits your methods of deception and avoidance.

What misdeeds did Private Manning bring to light specifically?

People have to realize that the treatment of Bradley Manning is becoming more of a legitimate scandal everyday. For example, here is an editor of the conservative National Review criticizing it.

Abusing the WikiLeaker? - National Review Online

From what I gather, Manning was pretty indiscriminate as to what he was revealing, he wasn't just revealing alleged wrongdoings by the US armed forces....he was just copying everything he could get his hands on and passing it on....so to praise him as a whistle blower is quite a stretch of the imagination by his online defenders.

Not really a stretch. Passing on information from an overly secretive government is kind of the only right, whistleblower-like action to take.

Put this snot nosed kid in the general prison population and let the chips fall where they may.

In the meantime the American Left has something much more important to protest. Free Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the Hero of the American Left. Why isn't Obama giving him a trial in NYC? KSM is being held indefinitely without a trial. What a terrible injustice.:)

Then you would agree that he then must also face trial for doing this? Correct???

Define overly secretive in war? you must be kidding or you don't really realise what you are saying or... you expect an army to broadcast what they are gonna do next.....
Wouldn't it be nice in a football game if the coach would tell the opposing team all their tactics:roll:

Who is to judge what should be secret? Can each person decide for himself or herself?

Anything that weakens the American federal govt. and makes it impossible to impose its will is good in my opinion. Sounds to me like you're a radical conservative. Hip, hip, hooray.

In one post you claim anything that stops the americans from imposing their will is god and right after you post this. Please make up your mind where you stand on this issue.

Sorry. misread the order of posts. retract the above

Battle plans are a secret for a good reason.

Handing civilians over to Iraqi secret police to be tortured is kept secret for entirely different reasons, because it goes against moral and ethical reasoning. I must also remind that these are not Saddam's secret police but lackeys of the puppet regime installed by the US

And let's be real here, the entire CIA is an illegal entity, it operates above the law around the world, even in the US, it uses any means available including murder and torture to try and influence foriegn governments to bow to Americas wishes. America as a whole is nothing more than a greedy bully nation who thinks their way is the only way.

No friggen kidding LOL

I was thinking about Aldrich Ames the CIA Mole who betrayed dozens of Soviet Assets during the cold war while working as a double agent for the KGB. The result of his actions led to one Soviet Officer being lowered into a furnace and burned alive. The footage from this act would be used as a deterrent for would be traitors in Soviet intelligence.

Bradley Manning knew the risks when he handed over the cables. While some might be considered harmless others may have had dire consequences in Countries like Saudi Arabia.
