Why would there not have been ? How many armies did the Persian Prince conquer on his way west . How many of those armies were incorporated into his force ?
The Arabs were wandering desert nomads, back then.

Ah, now you're trying to deny you f*cked up.

So Trumpian.

The funny part is, if you owned up and said "My bad. Brainfart," we'd forget all about it. But you just gotta roll that boulder up the hill.

Probably but he kept us out of Vietnam and there was heavy pressure on us to join in that great crusade.
wrf are you talking about.

He wasn't Prime Minister after 63 - at which time there was no direct US involvement in Viet Nam

The one who kept us out of that was Pearson. Who was actually largely responsible for almost everything Trudeau gets the credit/blame for.

Unification of the Forces?

That was a done deal by the time Trudeau came along.

You're right! That was Pearson!

It was American nukes that Deifenbaker wouldn't allow into Canada!

Pearson did, though. ...Bomarcs, Genies, Long Johns, Mark 90 Depth Charges ...

Good ole Pearson came through and armed us with nukes 'cause bad ole Dief wouldn't have 'em.

I remember now.

US had many thousands of troops in Vietnam by 1963.
