I don't need to convince anybody of your childish behavior. You will be banned sooner or later. You are going to step on few toes.

Well I have been here for quite awhile and I have not been banned yet. Some of my posts may have been deleted from time to time but that is fair I suppose. It is their ball field.

So even though you have reverted to name calling (Smacker) I will take the higher road and not respond in kind.

common folks.......can the crap.ok.

If people like smack wants to be petty and incite anger, while exposing his petulant self .......keep in mind, this is also part of the US mindset. In general they are provocative, and will resort to any dirty tactics they have at their disposal just to prove a point......while no one knows exactly what point they are trying to prove. It is all about an overinflated ego, arrogance , and all the other pathology that goes on their . Bashing is a way of life for Americans. Don't stoop to their level. This is where the two cultures are so different.

Ignore the nonsense, stay on the topic. (just like two year olds who seek attention, with bad behavior.....ignoring the behavior is better than reinforcing it by giving it any attention at all. ) It takes a lot of patience and "tolerance" to deal with this kind of conduct.

and yes, it works both ways. keep the focus and don't bite into the bait.

Fine with me. I'll let it die.

Even though this post was chock full of bashing...

I'm not sure you understood my post you quoted above, Ocean Breeze. If you do, then give me some skin.

And thank you Eaglesmack, but although massacre and genocide in another country poses no immediate, imminent danger, the festering nature of it and the fallout of a failed state inevitably invites the gangsters and terrorists to have a secure home.

We cannot be the world's policeman but we should behave in enough of a threatening way to make these genocidal thugs think twice, because they certainly don't fear Canada or the EU or the UN.

Yeah one part of me does agree with you Eaglesmack, let the bastards kill each other, but it is also the bee and not just the butterfly that pushes a little wind that ripples a chain of events around the world, eventually and most assuredly.

And I understand the irony of your point, Eaglesmack.

Despite the insulated bubble of thinking that exemplies most adversaries in a debate here and elsewhere, it is amazing that these people all have areas in which they excel and are quite intelligent.

I guarrantee that discussing politics makes idiots of us all.

Makes us all look like idiots to the next person.

I was using Rawanda as an example as to the hypocracy in some of the oppositions arguements.

They jump up and down about us in Iraq by stating Sadaam was contained and was not a threat as he did not attack the US.

The same goes for Rawanda and Yugoslavia for that matter. It was the Rawandan govt. that was doing the killing over there. They posed no threat to anyone but themselves. The same holds with the conflict in the Balkans. Which if we use their line of think was a total violation of International Law. The bombing of Yugolslavia was just as fierce as the bombing of Iraq. The occupation of Yugoslavia is by their arguments illegal and all participants should be brought to trial. That means Canada, France, the US, Britain and every other country that put boots on the ground in Yugoslavia is guilty of war crimes and meddling in the affairs of another country... illegally. The UN did not support or sponsor that invasion.

It is a two way street. You can't say this invasion is illegal but that one is OK when the situations are similar. Not exact, but similar.
