I don't think people are scared of her per sae; They may be worried about the totally uninformed BS she spews and others like her actually believing that she is correct in everything she (and others of her ilk) say. Like has been said in this thread, if people can't be bothered to take the time to actually learn about socialism and think that its the cats ass, then they (and we) are headed for trouble.
I have listened to her speak several times and it is obvious as hell she has no idea of what she's talking about; for the most part, she didn't even make sense. And she's apparently educated? Don't send your kids to wherever it is she received her education cuz they did a pretty crappy job.

She's a middle-of-the-road by European standards. In Canada, she would be a member of the NDP. In America, she's Lenin/Stalin/Mao.
I agree she would fit right in with the NDP, a little on the extreme side, but a good fit.
