Hypocrite: Report Shows Ocasio-Cortez's Massive Fossil Fuel Consumption Despite Green New Deal Demands

"For thee but not for me," New York Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez apparently beleives when it comes to saving the planet from its potential doomsday within 12 years. A new report by the New York Post shows that the woman who is touted as the "future of the Democrat Party" spends thousands of dollars on fossil fuels and other carbon-emitting expenses.

Since declaring her candidacy in May 2017, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign heavily relied on those combustible-engine cars — even though a subway station was just 138 feet from her Elmhurst campaign office.
She listed 1,049 transactions for Uber, Lyft, Juno and other car services, federal filings show. The campaign had 505 Uber expenses alone.
In all, Ocasio-Cortez spent $29,365.70 on those emissions-spewing vehicles, along with car and van rentals — even though her Queens HQ was a one-minute walk to the 7 train.
The campaign shelled out only $8,335.41 on 52 MetroCard transactions.
Her hypocrisy continues, as she relays to supporters the importance of being eco-friendly yet regularly displays disregard for waste on her Instagram live videos.
And while she is quick to dispense all sorts of planet-saving tips to her constituents and fans, telling a high-school assembly in Queens last month that they should “skip disposable razors and switch to safety razors” and “skip meat/dairy for a meal,” she doesn’t always take her own green advice.
In a Feb. 24 Instagram video filmed in her kitchen, Ocasio-Cortez railed against plastic grocery bags — then appeared to toss two of the sacks, which can be recycled, into the trash.
“It drives me crazy,” she said of plastic bags. “I wish they didn’t exist.”
In the video, Ocasio-Cortez peeled a sweet potato while calling for a “universal sense of urgency” to save the earth.
But she discarded the vegetable scraps into the same receptacle she had just used for the plastic bags, rather than setting the food waste aside for compost.
Trent refused to answer when asked whether his boss tossed her organic material in the trash.
The freshman congresswoman defended her use of fossil fuels by saying she was simply "living in the world."

Socialist congresswoman given a swift reality check by actual environmentalist

Greenpeace Co-Founder, Dr. Patrick Moore, has been in an ongoing spat with New York Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) over the overly-ambitious Green New Deal that could quadruple the national debt. Moore, who has since split with Greenpeace, now refers to himself as the “sensible environmentalist.”

The GND calls for an ultra-progressive bucket list of environmental goals such as the elimination of all fossil fuels, nuclear energy, air travel, 99% of cars and the retrofitting of every single building in America for “state of the art energy efficiency.” AOC’s plan even throws in government-guaranteed jobs – and simply hands cash to anyone “unwilling to work,” along with healthy food and a free house.

The plan would also, as Moore notes,
kill everything on earth:

Ocasio-Cortez was responding to comments made by a writer for the feminist news outlet Jezebel, who said women in politics are characterized as either “hideous harpies” such as Hillary Clinton or "pretty idiots." "To her critics, Ocasio-Cortez is firmly in the pretty idiot category,” Jezebel writer Ashley Reese said.
In the New Yorker interview, Ocasio-Cortez said she agreed with the comments. "I feel like I predicted it from day one,” she said. “The idea that a woman can be as powerful as a man is something that our society can’t deal with.”

AOC Distances Herself From Chief Of Staff Over Possible Political Donations Scandal

This latest string of news could prove to be her undoing though as the Washington Times claimed that Ms Ocasio-Cortez’s former Chief of Staff, Tech Millionaire Mr Saikat Chakrabarti, has funneled over $1 million in political donations to his own companies
Seeing the scandal take root and knowing that the reporting on it would spread in the coming days, Ms Alexandria-Cortez distanced herself from Mr Chakrabarti, saying: “He’s not on my payroll. They were not working for me and they are two separate entities here. This is the difference between an LLC and a PAC.”

Ocasio-Cortez, chief of staff illegally moved $885G in campaign contributions 'off the books,' FEC complaint alleges

She doesn't strike me as that smart, her campaign manager masterminded this, and just kept telling her it will be OK. I don't think she knows what's really going on
